Hi: As many of you have already heard, tragically Amber was killed in a car wreck last Friday, Nov. 30. Below is the press release we sent to the media as well as an address to send cards to Amber's father. Her family has had more loss than anyone should have. Alison
Rick Jacobson 8322 Arlington, Ave NW North Canton, OH 44720 JACOBSON KILLED IN OHIO ACCIDENT NASHVILLE -- December 6, 2012-- Industry veteran Amber Jacobson was killed in a tragic car accident on Friday, November 30, while in Ohio with family. Jacobson was an Executive Director at CountryWired, a Nashville-based entertainment internet consulting agency. She had been with the company for over eight years. Stephanie Orr-Buttrey, owner of CountryWired commented, "Amber was an invaluable member of our CountryWired family. She was an intricate part of our team. The impact of her loss will be felt for many years." Jacobson was a graduate of Belmont University. She is survived by her father, Rick Jacobson, and her grandmother, Wanda Ellerman. Her passion for music was limitless, but her greatest fondness was for country music and the artists in the format. A Celebration of Life party will be held at Occasions Party Centre located at 6800 Manchester Rd., Clinton, Ohio on December 16 from 12:00pm-3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jacobson Family Benevolent Fund at any First Merit location. www.firstmerit.com |
