Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving . Hope you all can spend the day with family and friends.

I will have 8 people counting a 3 year old chocolate Lab . (He doesn't know he is not a peoplel smile.gif ) I opted out of cooking but there is a great cafeteria here and they are doing my dinner for me.We always have some favorite things you can't get anywhere but your kitchen so I'll be doing those . It will be the first Thanksgiving in a very long time that I have company coming . Friends who went to Vince's Palm Desert ,Ca. show with me . My youngest daughter and her family will also be here .

What are all of your plans ?

Have a great day. smile.gif

No plans here, really...my father's coming over and we're going out for dinner. My mom, stepfather and they're taking Taylor, my 6-yr. old niece with them. Next Sunday my mom's Church is having pancake dinner and a ventriloquist...I might go up there for that, not sure yet, it depends on what time we get home ourselves on Sunday, since we go out shopping.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I am still working in Texas and Thanksgiving day will be my 2nd day off in over 2 months, so I plan on doing nothing! I bought green bean casserole, veggies and dip, might get a piece of chicken to go with that for dinner.

Other than calling my family, I will be sleeping, eating and reading smile.gif

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.

We're going to our son & daughter in laws; our daughter will also be there. As far as I know, I don't have to cook a thing this year, which is nice, but I miss my Mama more and don't want to lose that tradition of all of the dishes we cooked over the years. We'll probably do it at our house next year.

For all of you traveling, safe travel mercies - enjoy the time with family and friends and see you again on the board sometime next week.

Dinner at my daughter's brand new house with MY hubby's family all meeting there. We usually have T-day with my side, and daughter wanted to get with the other family members (aunts, uncles, cousins) she never gets to see, so this should be nice.

Christmas will be at her new house too, with her hubby's family. It seems like we are always doing things with MY side of the family, so this year, a little different. I think it will be nice.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends on the Board.

Pam - where are you? Baytown? Email me - - - - I don't think you are too far from my daughter's house. We can sure find a place at the table for YOU!!!!!!!! Email me!

Cathy, it was really nice talking to you yesterday. Thank you so much for the kind offer, I really appreciate it, hopefully you understand my reasons to stay at the hotel and do nothing *L*

Have a fantastic time with your family and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

Since our lives are still upside down since Mom died and my sister moved in, I was not having everyone over for dinner this year. We are going to my husband's neice's house. One of my coworkers got sick and now I am working night shift both Weds and Thurs, which is not so bad since we are going somewhere else for dinner. Today I have to prep whipped sweet potatoes and pull fresh brussel sprouts off of the stalk. I did cheat and order cheesecake to take with....and it is a very excellent cheesecake indeed!

I wish I had the recipe for that spinach they have at Boston Market. I'd make that too. Maybe next year....

I hope you guys all have an excellent time and stuff yourselves silly!

I invited my sister to join me and my father for dinner, so she's going to meet us at the restaurant tomorrow w/ Haylie, her 17 month old.

We'll be at Bruce's Mom's tomorrow for Thanksgiving. Some of my family are out of town already, visiting other family members for the holiday. So my Mother is going with us to Bruce's Mom's. We'll have the turkey with all the trimmings. I've spent today making squash casserole, cranberry gelatin salad and Bruce made a few pumpkin pies. I guess we're all set!!!

Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow. And don't forget what this day is all about...remember what you're thankful for!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. Even with the tough times in our country at this time, we have a lot to be thankful for. Pam, you deserve a hotel with room service and a huge traditional Thanksgiving dinner, you give so much to help others. I'm sure you are happy to just have a day off and relax. Everyone enjoy the day and stay safe.
