I was lucky enough to interview one of the most amazing bass players of our time, Lee Slar. You can read the entire interview here http://www.stevelukather.net/Interview.aspx?id=110 or here is the exerpt about Vince/Amy: Amy Grant: "I love Amy. I just worked with her a week and a half ago."
Vince Gill: "Vince is probably one of the most gifted singer/musicians I've ever worked with."

Thank You. A lot of these guys I have interviewed this year are pretty mellow & easy to work with. Whenever I mention Vince they always light up.

I always light up at the mention of him too .I will never forget the first time a actually got to meet him.I thought I would be a basket case because he is actually the only entertainer I have had any desire to meet with the exception of Elvis (who was my first love :-) and even though I was fortunate to see E in concert 4 times and was at his very last concert show and was absolutely in mourning for weeks after his passing I told everyone if ever there is another singer I fall for that much I won't stop until I meet him.My youngest daughter got me into Vince and I had the good fortune to join the fan club and finally met him in Vegas .It's so refreshing to find anyone that talented who entertains me to the extreme and know that they are such amazing people only validates my love of his music and his humbleness and graciousness is such a down to earth person. I have such respect for him and the way he has handled his fame. Some ask if I know him personally and I say yes I do because once you see him in his shows and meet him I would defying anyone to say they do not know him.I would be so honored to really know him and Amy personally .As most people know I could go on and on and usually do.Can't say enough good about him and his awesome gift to the world of music .Appreciate any news you pass on about your experience in what you do and passing it on to Vince's fans. smile.gif And for sure you are one of his biggest fans .<3

Imagine me forgetting to say I work really hard in educating the world to his talents . biggrin.gif
