Wish List for VG Options

Moving this topic to the appropriate room.

I had earlier expressed a wish to have VG play with Tom Petty and to have VG do some work with the rockabilly genre.

Adding to this list, my desire to have an fan interactive role in fundraising for one of VG's charity causes. Yes, donating to one of his causes would be nice, but to me, it is more than that. It can be a chance to be creative with fundraising, do a garage sale, bake sale, etc. to help generate more funds and have a great time doing so. We can share our efforts and progress too.

I wish that a make over of this site would be considered. So many love VG and his music and this site does is in not reflective of the wonderful light of life and talent of VG.

Imo, it does not provide an inviting opportunity for fan expression either. There are far to many "views" vs. "posts."

I was recently shocked when for the first time in my experience on line that during a post, it was rejected due to my having to many emoticons? Are you serious, I thought? I fail to see the reason for that, I have never heard of anyone complaining of too many emoticons in my life, nor can I be convinced that they are a threat, since they are generated from this site.

The ability to express yourself is so limited here, we are not even allowed to chose our own photos for our profile, outside of what has been pre-determined for us. I feel confident that, for example, if I was going to a Tom Petty concert and felt like changing a profile pic to celebrate , that VG would not see any offense in that. Most modern computers with antivirus pre-scan any download that I make and any decent fan page can do so as well.

I understand that there has been a problem in the past with spam, etc. Those past issues, need to be reevaluated. I fully acknowledge the need for site protection, but imo, the baby was thrown out in the bath water, as they say.

It has taken me over a year to have the courage to write this. I don't fear being understood, I do have strong concerns over being misunderstood.

I mean absolutely no disrespect to VG or his fine staff! It is vital to me that I do not give that impression.

I wish that there was an ambiance that exuded , 'C'mon on in y'all, we are having a great time, celebrating Vinnie and life itself!
