Have you requested the new single? Did the station play it? Did they say they didn't have it?

Post here so we know any stations that are currently playing Vince's new single!

I agree Anna! Sara Evans first two were deemed "too" country too and only manage one hit and that force her to switch to sort of country pop but you know neo-traditional is still in and country acts like Josh Turner and Brad Paisley do incorporate from time to time but I feel it's not enough and the difference between Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift speaks volumes about it. I believe Carrie did mention one time that you shouldn't try to have differences mixes of country songs to make it work at pop radio (like some of Swift's singles) but instead make a country record and let it songs in entire country originality crack the bigger "hot 100" listener masses. That just paraphrasing of what she actually said but ain't that the truth. We accepted Dolly Parton's country pop... but Dolly is Dolly and she has the originality and "one of a kind" voice to pull if off but they called it "urban country" back then and it didn't sound entirely like a pop record just "rocked" little more than "twanged". And when I say "rock" ...it's the same their too. Rock is being ousted for hip-hop. R&B is less soulful and Country has gone pop. I would say it's the record's company's fault but Vince leaving MCA may hint at something...just saying.
