Is anyone else watching Big Brother All Stars #7? I must admit I get "hooked" on Big Brother. It is different though since I know most of the characters except for Season 1 and 2. I didn't start watching until Season 3.

I've picked my favorite to win so far. I like Erika. I liked her on Season 4 and I still like her. Some of the others are already getting on my nerve and they got on my nerve when they were on previous shows. blink.gif

I have read that some had made allliances before they ever came on the show so in a way it is just a little boring at times but still I keep watching.

I'm watching it. I hope Will gets evicted this week...he's so stuck on himself that it's sickening! *L* I haven't seen many of the previous BB episodes...I don't think I actually started watching much of it until Season 5. I think I did see some of Season 1, but it was just too boring that season. Season 6 has the tightest alliance in the house, and I like all of those players. I really don't know who I want to win.

I watch it from time to time. Last year I liked Erika and Kasar (sp) and I think this year it is the same so far.

Time to get rid of 'foil' man the foil bugs me ohmy.gif And Will is odd blink.gif

I loved George's POV speech tonight...he really said everything he was feeling, and he's definately the most genuine person in the house. He *really* wants to be there, and he was right about how there are very few times in life when you get a second chance at something. Will wants to go home and threatened to make the house a living you know what, so I think they should grant his wishes and send him home!

WOW! last night was quite an eposide wasn't it? I can't understand if Will wants go home so bad why did he come on the show in the first place and why Geogre knew that he was going home if he didn't win the veto. Why were they trying to get rid of Geoge when Will and Boogie are more of a threat. I'm glad George won veto and I am surpirsed that Kaysar went through all he did through the veto to try and beat George.

It wouldn't surprise me if they don't vote Jase out instead of Will. Maybe that's just the way Will plays the game but still he is a threat so why would they want him there instead of George?????

What is this show? I have never heard of it. Of course if I stayed awake long enough to watch anything but CSI re-runs maybe I would be privvy to other shows. laugh.gif

Anna,

It's called Big Brother and it's on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday nights on CBS at 7pm CT, so it's before CSI. It's another of the reality shows, and what it is, is people are in a house (and yard) set up by CBS...they can't go anywhere but the house and the yard, and there are cameras all over the house and the yard, so they're being watched 24/7. They have competitions, one for food, one for Head of Household (whoever wins HOH has to pick 2 people to put up for eviction), and Power of Veto Competition (the person who wins POV can choose to take one of the nominees off the block, like George did himself last night), then on Thursday night, they vote to evict one of the nominees)

I suppose it would be better to watch it from the very beginning. They do change the people ,don't they? So are these new shows or re-runs from last season. If they are from last season when do the new ones start?

You can really start watching it at any time, Anna...since there's no plot-line involved, like a lot of other shows on TV. These are all new episodes...they don't run repeats of the reality shows, unless it's on the Game Show Network (Survivor) or late at night (the Austin WB station airs Fear Factor at 11pm every night here). This season, they're calling it Big Brother All-Stars, because the house is filled with people who have played the game before. It's basically a house-based version of Survivor, but instead of the shows being taped months in advance, they're only taped a few days in advance...there's also a live internet feed that some people subscribe to (you have to pay for it) and you can watch the houseguests llive and basically uncensored...although at times they do cut the feeds and put up flames in the place of actually watching the houseguests.

Becky ~ I definately agree with you about there not being much on TV these days except repeats! We have been watching some shows that we never watched during the regular season (CSI NY, Criminal Minds (which I tape, since it's on opposite America's Got Talent)), plus some of the summer replacement shows (BB, America's Got Talent). We were watching So You Think You Can Dance, but between the hostess and the dances they have to do, we got tired of it.

As I was watching the show last night I just somehow got to thinking that the vote would go 9 to 0 for Jase. I don't understand it but I think the whole game is beginning to play a little "fishy" for me, lol. Why wouldn't you want to get rid of an alliance that you knew existed like Chill Town, plus Will ask to leave.... I don't know why they are playing the way they are but I am beginning to not want any of them to win, lol, but I will keep on watching.

I can't figure out why they don't get rid of chill town, either...unless it's because they know that Will won't win any HOH competition, and he probably won't win any POV competition, either. Some people on the BB newsgroup are speculating that Will purposely gave the wrong answer in the HOH competition last night. Seems like Janelle wants to get rid of Erika, so she'll probably be put up on the block Sunday night.

Still haven't gotten around to watching an episode of this show...found out that CMT is running several Hee Haw episodes last night and today and I've been recording them...Maegan had never seen an episode of Hee Haw before last night...now she loves it!!!

Maybe I can watch a few shows this next week...

We've also been watching several of the USA network mid-season shows...Monk, The Dead Zone and the new show Psych...they are all great shows...the seasons just don't last long enough!!!

Ok, why do I have the feeling that Janelle is going to actually *trust* CT???!! Will is the *last* person in the house that I'd trust with anything!

I am getting disgusted with the whole lot of them, lol. I NEVER trusted Janelle even when she was on BB6. I wish they would have put Diane up instead of Erika but then James made sure that wouldn't happen.

Will is playing the game... I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't win!

I liked Howie on BB6 but this season he is annoying to me.

Erika may be playing the game under the radar but to my knowledge she hasn't come in the diary room and talked like Diane has or Danielle so I think she isn't getting a fair deal in being nominated. Of course the other players don't know what they say in the diary room. What's with Kaysar too, he just seemed to "float" out of the picture with the other guys. Maybe Janelle was a little jealous that some of the guys found Erika attractive too, lol. Oh well it's just a game but I'm am getting tired of Janelle and Howie.

I'm sure Boogie won't get voted off so Erika is probably going to go home this week. Don't know why they won't vote off a Chill Town player but they won't.

I was so glad to see Diane get voted off last night. I was tired of hearing her whine around the house all day. I hope Janelle or Howie is the next to go.

Chill Town is still hanging in there and Janelle needs to go if she trusted them. Also I don't think Howie is really playing he is just hanging onto Janelles skirt tails. He is probably the only loyal person she has behind her though but I still don't trust her.

Howie is definately riding on Janelles skirt tails...he's not doing much, that's for sure, but he is very loyal to her. I think Kaysar is pretty loyal to her, too, but James couldn't be trusted last year and we know that S6 shouldn't trust him this year, either.

Oh, and that HOH competition they started last night, they were all doing it wrong, and Julie never corrected them. They were supposed to hang below the web from their hand and feet, not climb on top of it and use it like a hammock! When I saw that, I was thinking, gee, nobody is going to fall off from there. *L* Turns out that people with the live feeds said that 2 hours later Janelle came out with a message from BB telling them that they needed to hang from the bottom of the web, not lay on top of it. Someone even asked Julie if they were supposed to get on top of it, and she told them yes...she was even wrong! I don't know how long the comp lasted, but apparently it ended Sunday night.

I hate to admit it but I have watched every season of this inane show. Chill Town is really playing the game well and deserve to finish us in the last four. I don't personally care for either those men but they are playing the others to do their dirty work for them. I liked Janelle last year on the BB6 show but find that she has cut her own throat by getting rid of Diane in the manner she did. There are numerous chat rooms with information from others that get the live feed, so if you want to know who won the HOH just log on to one of the spoiler threads and you can find out. Is Howie as dumb as he acts or is it an act?

My post was suposed to say the HOH comp. ended Thursday night...duh!! *L* And I wasn't online yesterday to edit it (I got DSL and couldn't get connected and Earhlink yesterday wasn't any help at all.) Yeah, the BB newsgroup posts spoilers about who wins the comps every week, so I do know who won HOH, but didn't want to spoil it for anyone.

I really don't know if Howie is as dumb as he acts or if it's all an act.
