I personally don't enjoy collecting anything that has to be dusted/is not useful . I started a few years ago collecting coffee mugs .I find it's a great way to have souveniers/gifts from favorite places and among my 35/40 mugs include San Francisco,Las Vegas,Daytona Motor Speedway,Kentucky Derby,Nashville /Opry/Fanfair and a special one with likeness' of "The Beatles" hand carried from England by a friend of my daughters. Just purchased my most recent and finally got a picture of Vince and me on a mug so large it will easily accomadate
16 ounces of whatever liquid I decide to put into it.
As I am having my morning cup I can savor in the memories of a place or a person that has brought me some joy.

So maybe to get a little activity going on the board tell me .....What do you all collect ? smile.gif

Personalized guitar picks. I have 3 different colored VG picks along with an Eric Claptonpick as my best picks. I snatched an Alan Jackson pick out of the air intended for the lady behind me at the Hank Williams Jr. Tribute Concert. She wasn't very happy & her dude offered me a 20 spot for it but I told him to go away. When I get home I'll look through my picks & list more here.

Guitar picks, that wouldn't take up very much room. That's a good idea. I collect cow and moose creamers. I also have quite a lot of Vince tee shirts. I like to advertise for Vince. My husband says I'm slowly buying a set of tires for Vince's bus with concert tickets. We have seen him 18 times and hope to see him 18 more! Happy Vince,Crystal

Well, I did collect Beanie Babies when they were *the* thing to collect, but now I have a bunch that aren't worth what I originally paid for them. I also collect keychains. I get a keychain every time I go anywhere....on vacation, to a concert, etc. The Vince keychain I had on my keys broke last Friday...I have the whole thing, just need to glue it back together.

I use to collect giraffes, but not so much anymore. After they broke my giraffe teapot by turning the stove on and forgetting to add water, I got annoyed. Plus it seemed any time they threw anything in the house it managed to hit a giraffe, so I gave up. I still have a few around the house, mostly with chips, but they are still cute. Haven't collected anything since, maybe I'll have to come up with a new idea smile.gif

Oh yeah, guitar picks, I have some too, but I won't say I collect them. I'm happy if I get one, if not it's ok too. But those guitar picks are great items to remember some great concerts. I have two by Keith Urban, three by John Michael Montgomery, one by Joe Nichols and one by Rick Monroe.
It's not me, it's more my hubby's hobby to collect those mulled wine mugs from our yearly Christmas market.
I collect CDs if that count.

I had a Vince guitar pick that a friend sent me when I lived in FL, but after we moved into this house, when I went to look for it last time, for the life of me I can't find it. I thought I had put it in my jewelry armoire, but haven't been able to find it. sad.gif

I also collect CDs, if that counts! I did set up another CD spinner that we can use since the rest of mine were getting full, so I still have room for more.

I also have quite afew mugs from different places but at this stage in my life I am thinking more about clearing out things.
Still like to buy something to remember my trips by that I go on.

haha!! Send me your address, and I'll send you my dust!

I collect dolls--ones that look like babies, and lots of country music stuff. I have quite an autograph collection, and did a good job adding to it last week while in Music City!

Oh, I also collect the Hallmark Barbie Christmas ornaments, I have several Holiday Barbies, baseball/football cards, I have both full sets of the Country Gold trading cards that were out several years ago and I have several of them autographed. I also love collecting autographs, but have yet to get to Fan Fair to get more. I have been lucky with getting autographs even without getting to Fan Fair...I've gotten a lot in Branson...I have autographs from the whole Tillis Family...Mel, Pam, Sonny, both sisters, and even their cousin. Other autographs I have include Doug Stone, Bryan White, Neal McCoy, Moe Bandy, David Lee Murphy, Mark Collie, Little Texas, Jean Shepard, one of Dolly's sisters...I'm thinking Stella...and of course, Vince. I know there are other autographs I have, just can't think of them all right now.

A dusty old coot, if you ask me! hahahaha

About Lonestar - - - I think Cody replacing Richie has not hurt Lonestar at all. Cody is precious! He is full of life and very talented.
