Mark Knopfler new CD Get Lucky Options

Husband got us tickets to see Mark Knopfler at the Chicago theater this spring...tickets came with his new CD (hey ALL artists should do this!). Considering that Mark is in Vince's history, Mark asked Vince to be a guitarist in Dire Straits, or something like that---which Vince did not do, some other commitment like a recording contract or something like that....anyway, considering that history thought I'd comment on the CD....it is EXCELLENT. I haven't really followed Mark Knopfler, just know him back from the old days of his hits with Dire Straits, having music videos on MTV back when MTV first started....current CD sounds GREAT! He stayed true to his style of music...greatly reminds me of listening to his music way back then...keep remembering boating on Lake Eerie with my cousin, talking about boating all the way across the lake from Cleveland to Canada...not actually doing that, but staying on the lake all night long listening to Dire Straits. Cousin Tracy married the guy with the boat, I fell in love with boating that night. Good memories. Good to bring them back with Mark's current CD. I reccomend picking it up.
