Nashville has declared a state of emergency due to all the rain that has caused Nashville and the surrounding areas to flood. From what I have heard, the Cumberland River has already overflowed its banks downtown and is getting close to flooding down Broadway. Opryland is under waist high water, Briley Pkwy is closed, as is I-24, I-65, I-40, Harding Road and many of the other roads in Nashville. You can find more info at http://www.tennessean.com where you can also see photos of the flooding.

Hard to even imagine - what a disaster for the area. I'm sure it will be a while before all the damage can be assessed. Quite a few people are without power also, according to the weather channel.
