Ok. so he's no Vince, but Alan Jackson is coming about 10 minutes from me and tickets were only $25, so got tickets today when they went on sale this morning. I WISH Vince would come here, but no such luck.

I have been to an A.J.concert and it was one of the best I've ever seen .
He is who he is biggrin.gif

I saw AJ back around 1995 in Ft. Lauderdale, and he was good. smile.gif Just hope we don't get a lot of people standing up during the whole show since seats are on the floor.

He is in Columbus, GA with Lauren Alaina in May. I may try and go if a good seat pops up.

Don't know if he's got anyone with him here, but, Rhonda, if you can go, go! We don't get a whole lot of concerts here where there are actual seats and only 10 minutes from us. Usually the concerts are in Waco, which is about 40 minutes...not too far of a drive, but the concerts at the fair up in Waco are outdoor shows where you have to stand...and neither my father or I are capable of standing for long periods of time right now.

Anna, you're right, AJ mainly sings, but like you said, pure country...and none of those bells and whistles like Garth did and a lot of other artists do these days. Although I do have to say that Lady A puts on one heck of a show w/out the theatrics like Garth...but then again it's mainly about charisma and if an artist or group has that (and can sing), then they don't need much else.

I saw where Lauren Alaina was going on tour with him.Not sure if that is for every show or maybe like Scotty did with Sugarland and a couple others .

Yes I did, Cathy. It was April 13, and I had a wonderful time. When I get a chance I'll post some pics on Facebook. Just haven't had a chance to re-size them.
