I have an urgent question regarding "meet and greets"! The Midland Theatre, Newark, OH concert tickets go on sale 3/15 but I have yet to officially join Vince's fan club so my questions are if I order the tickets and then join the fan club will I still be able to submit for the "meet and greet"? Also, considering after joining fan club I would be submitting for a pass it seems a little late, though I believe the concert date just appear only recently, I was wondering if I would or would not have a chance for a pass? Does any concert goer that is a board member ever post they have submitted for passes? I know their is a selection process and he only accepts a handful but does he get a numerous amount of submits or is it just a few to several?

You see joining the fan club was to meet Vince and to get the rest of my album booklets signed as a personal memento or keepsake but this is the only concert I found in within reasonable distance to travel to thus far using the recent concert date schedule. This will be the second concert I will be intending with the previous at Morgantown, WV and Vince's ticket prices has been very, very reasonable (Thanks Vince) and considering gas prices I could never afford driving to Tennessee and I live in S.E. Ohio about 2 1/2 hours away from the concert location which is convenient. If any member or concert goer has any info that would help me on decisions, I would graciously appreciate it.

Thanks,

Wayner

So far I haven't had the chance to submit for a m&g since Vince hasn't been near me, but I'm sure it doesn't matter if you join the fan club before or after you already have your tickets when you submit a request for a m&g. I do know that with the m&g passes, your chances of getting a pass all depends on how many people submit a request for a m&g pass. The fewer the people submitting a request, the better your chances of getting a pass. I've already seen people get m&g passes two years in a row because the number of submits for requests were so low for the shows that they went to that they were able to get them.

If you don't get the m&g passes, if you can, go out and wait by the busses because Vince will usually stop and sign for people waiting there.

Valerie is right as long as you are a fan club member you can submit for a m&g pass.

Thank you Valerie and Anna!!! I will definitely join vgfc and submit for M&G passes.

Yeah, I did the "stand by the bus" @ Morgantown concert almost a year ago. It was funny I was standing pretty close to the bus and a security worker said I had to stand back further away on the lawn. I could see the door but never saw Vince sneak out and suddenly after two hours standing and waiting the bus started to pull out and just as it started down the parking lot to the main road it abruptly stop and I was like "Vince is leaving and I didn't get any autographs." Graciously, one of his good helpers or musicians got off the bus and ask me what I want signed and although I already knew he couldn't sign all 24 items after playing three hrs on a guitar (he must have Superman's hands of steel), I had previously decided just to get a photo, 5 cassette sleeves and a huge booklet signatured in which, he sarcastically said on stage only 20 people bought the "These Days" album. I was thinkin' to myself, "I'm one of those 20 and I love the album". That was my fun experience and I say fun because I think he was silently giggling on the bus when pulling away, I like a person who has a sense of humor, lol. He may not be in his hay day but Vince has still got it.
