Off work until May 1st Options

Due to my dept. being over-budget at work, we've been off work since Wed. afternoon...today my Supe called and said to not plan on being back to work until May 1st. And even though my Supe didn't say it, I'm sure that's pending we don't get a call on April 30 telling us to not come in. According to the newspaper, we could be off work until July! Did already file for unemployment, and I'm actually getting more unemployment than I did the last 6 months I've been working..mainly because of my voice problems and the fact that it was peak season for us (open enrollment from Oct - Dec) I couldn't work full time because I kept losing my voice. This gives me a chance to rest my voice, sit back and relax and study for my coding certification. If I can get that in July, I have a job prospect..a dr. who needs someone to do billing for her and it's work from home.
