Found this in The Tennessean. He's such a silly goose!
Gill needs no introduction
Perhaps I should just start a weekly column feature called "Funny Things Vince Gill Does."
During Friday's tribute to songwriters Felice and Boudleaux Bryant, after the introduction Vince was expecting from co-host Ralph Emery never came, he just walked out.
"Thanks for that glorious introduction, Ralph," Vince quipped.
"It's not in the script," Ralph told him.
"It reminds me of Nashville Now," Vince replied, ribbing Ralph about his former show.
The rest of the night, Vince sheepishly crept back out onstage, to the delight of the audience.
