I think that the magzine shouldn't have taken a photo like that.

I'm assuming that you're talking about the picture of Miley wrapped in the sheet? I can't understand why her dad even allowed that picture to be taken, much less allowed Vanity Fair to use it as their cover photo...unless Billy Ray wasn't aware that Vanity Fair would be using it.
And the photos of her showing her bra, I saw them and didn't think they were that 'racy'...heck, a bra usually covers more than a bikini bathing suit top does.

If you go to the Vanity Fair website, you can read the article and see a vidoe o fthe photo shoot. IMO the photo of her and Billy Ray does not look like a 'father/daughter" pose.

I thought they were kinda creepy on the awards show and I still they're kinda creepy in that picture!

I think the picture with her Dad is pretty unrealistic. I know my kids wouldn't be posing with us like that *L*
I don't think any of the pictures were bad, but my kid would be a little better supervised at 15 if she was showing her bra and 'laying' around with some boy. Just makes me wonder what she is doing when the camera is off -- 15 is just a little bit to young IMO

I agree. Definitely not the way my husband and daughter would EVER pose! Creepy. And I think the one with Miley wrapped in a sheet looks way too adult for a 15 year old. IMO her parents should be ashamed of themselves for allowing her to be photographed like that at her age.

Just so you know her parent's weren't their ,they had just left to go home for the day.Her grandma & teacher were still there with her. And there was only one more to take. And that was when it happend.I think that the lady who took the photo is to blame she talk Miley in to it. And at 15 she didn't know that it would turn out like that.

They (Billy Ray Cyrus, Mileys' mom & Mileys' management) should have a "final appoval" clause. That way they would have to "sign off" & give their final approval before the magazine would be allowed to publish the pictures. That way they wouldn't have to "pretend" to be "surprised & tricked" by the magazine.

The Miami Herald had a story about this, and in the story they said that there have been other semi-racy pictures of a girl resembling Miley going around the internet, so I went back and looked at those pics of the girl in her bra, laying on a boy's lap, and found some pics of Miley, and I couldn't really tell if the girl showing her bra was Miley or not...it's very possible those pics are of a girl resembling Miley and saying that it is Miley.
I have to agree with Reggie...there should have been some kind of clause in that contract that gave Miley and her parents approval over what pics made it into the magazine...it's possible that Miley didn't even realize that the pic of her in the blanket was going to be published in Vanity Fair.

i do think that lady who took the "artistic" photo should be ashamed of herself. i'm far from a prude or whatever, but i really think these pix were shameful. just eeeewwwwww is all i can say. what are they trying to accomplish with them? who were these photos aimed at to see??? her teenage fans? her middle aged men fans?? eeeeeewwww. if i were here dad i would be disgusted and very angry. why in the world do kids need to grow up sooo fast?

There are always going to be creepy people around to try to take advantage of the naive and young stars and the photographer waited to do that little number till both of the parents were off the set. Disney said that she wouldn't be walking the red carpet and it may cost her with the younger audience but not the older teens.

This is only my opinion .I think a magazine like Vanity Fair and a photographer such as Annie Lebowitz would not publish or photograph pictures of a minor that were not o.k.'d by the parents .
I have not seen any of the pictures except the one with the sheet .

Anna,They had just left to go home,Miley's grandma and teacher were there. From what I heard the photographer talk her in to it. And when your 15 I don't think she relized it would be like that.
