Full Version: Congrats to Kiefer and "24"

Everyone knows I have been a fan of the tv show "24" since literally Day One. Am so happy that the Emmy's finally acknowledged Kiefer and the show. Kiefer won 2 best acting Golden Globes and 2 SAG (Screen Actor Guild) awards, but the Emmy, up until last night, was the elusive one! The show deserved it and I'm looking forward to Day 6 starting in January 2007. Wish President Logan and First Lady Martha had won last night....

Maggie, I know you would be happy. I'm happy too. Finally, it is well deserved. Glad the show won too. There seemed to be several surprises. The President & First Lady should have won. They were great this past year.

I've gone through all 4 seasons of DVD's and can's wait until the 5th season DVD comes out for some sneak peaks about the new season. It's amazing that every season seems to take it up a notch and is better than the season before. Don't know how they do that. It's usually the opposite with other shows.

I am happy too, Maggie. I missed seeing him get it though. Just saw part of the show.

Pam, you still out of town ?

Did I ever tell my fellow "24" fans that I saw Kiefer here in Nashville this past April? He was here with the rock band he manages. The husband of the woman who plays Audrey on "24" filmed a documentary on Kiefer and his band's tour of Europe in Dec/Jan and the film debuted at the Nashville Film Festival and Kiefer introduced it. I was in the front row and took a few photos of him. Hope I'm allowed to post the link:

I thought of you the other night Maggie!! I was watching the Emmy's just for Kiefer and the cast of "24". I NEVER watch but this year I just had a feeling Kiefer would win. It is time that he and the show were recognized for the outstanding work and show that they do. I was hoping that President Logan and the First Lady would have won too. I absolutely hate winter but can't wait until January for day 6 biggrin.gif
Thanks for sharing your pictures of when Kiefer was in Nashville. That must have been alot of fun.
