I'm not using this as a tool to 'sell' on this website, but I am using this as a way to tell my Vince fans that I helped design a book cover that the book has now been published! Too Cool!!!!!!!!

I've been friends with an online acquaintance now for over 15 years! She and I have met, attended concerts together, and even went to Clay Walker's fan club party and met again this past June.

This friend has written a romance novel, and she used Clay Walker as her model for the male character - Jeff Walker -. I have read the first 3 chapters of her book online, and the full book is now in print. I can't wait for my shipment to come in so I can finish reading the entire book!!!! YES, shipment! My whole family wants a copy of her book because I HELPED!!!!! Yeah, right! I designed a cover!!!!!!!!!

I'm proud that I helped design the cover! My idea and my design was used, and I am being acknowledged for my efforts in her dedication page! I'm excited!!!!!!!!!!!! SHE is more than excited!! It's her first publication, and she's already on Chapter 17 of her NEXT book!!!!!!!!!

That is super!!! You have every right to be proud of that accomplishment. You may have a new vocation in designing book covers - bet she asks for your input on the next one! Way to go!!

My copies of the book have just been delivered. WOW - I am so thrilled, and I know my friend who wrote it is just beside herself. They 'look' great, and now, for the first time, I get to read more than the first three chapters!!!!!

I read the book -- - IT IS GOOD!!!!!!!

My friend had someone else edit her book before she published it, and a lot of things were missed - you know improper grammar and punctuation - - - but the storyline is so danged good - who cares! I loved the story!

That's cool that Clay Walker's fan club members are interested in it! I like Clay, and would like to be in his fan club, but right now I'm trying to not spend any money except on food/groceries...at least until I get a job...then maybe I'll splurge sometime after the New Year.
