It was a good interview . Toby said he is not real political but very patriotic .Supporting the troops all the way. Said he didn't think we finished the job in Afganistan so he wasn't really for the Iraq war but he does USO shows all the time and the troops support him.

Here the link if anyone is interested or missed it

According to someone who should know --- Recently, Toby was in Iraq entertaining for the troops. When the show was finished - guys began breaking down the "stage" and equipment. Toby wanted to know what they were doing and was told that the show was over. Toby supposedly said that it wasn't, because there were troops out in the fields about to come in and he was going to do another show for them and not leave until he did a show for all of them. WHAT A GUY!!!!!!!!!!!! He DOES support our troops, and he shows them that he does. Got to love him! I have always liked Toby --- even during all his controversies, but he definitely won my heart with his Iraq actions!

In July, my sweet little niece was married. She was so sad that her cousin, Derek could not attend the wedding. All of the cousins are so close! As many know, Derek is in Iraq. Anyway, during the wedding ceremony, the minister mentioned that many loved ones could not attend the wedding. A screen lowered from the ceiling of the church, while the bride and groom were standing at the alter, and Toby's song, "American Soldier" began to play. The bride had put together a film strip of Derek in uniform, and of one of her bridesmaid, who in in the Navy, and was standing with the bride that day. The film strip was absolutely so touching! There was not a dry eye in the place. When Derek was shown in many of the photos that she had of him while he's in Iraq, it was like he was there at the wedding with us. Then, the film strip showed all of the generations of sailors/soldiers in the bride's and groom's family. Photos of my deceased Dad when he served in the Navy back in the 40's was shown. That was the most touching thing I have EVER seen at a wedding ceremony. It was such a wonderful tribute to our military!

I was so proud of my niece for turning the attention to our TROOPS, on a day that should have been strictly for HER. GOD bless her! It was so sweet, and the community is still talking about how they cried during Toby's song and the video that was shown at that wedding. IT WAS AWESOME!!!! I think Toby Keith himself would have cried watching it!!!!

Please keep Derek in your prayers, as well as all of the other troops. NONE of them are safe these days!!!!

I have to admit that I used to like Toby Keith when he was with Mercury, and then he got that 'attitude' and started with songs like "I Wanna Talk About Me" and it turned me off, as have some of his actions when it comes to awards (like when he walked out of the ACM Awards before EOTY was announced, and Reba & Vince were left standing there wondering what happened to Toby), but I do have to admit that he is one of the biggest supporters of the troops out there. I'm pretty sure Darryl Worley is another big supporter of the troops, and I think Neal McCoy has been over there, too.

I first became aware of Keith when he had that crazy video about singing thru the radio to the cheer leader who wouldn't give him time of day when in high school. Love that video!

Toby is one of those artist that I don't dislike nor am I crazy over. I think he is good at what he does. I saw him the first year I was at Fan Fair and he did a great concert . I don't own any of his music and probably wouldn't pay to see another concert. The thing I like about artist like Toby is this..............He stands up for his music and he stands strong in his beliefs. I think you gotta give anyone credit for standing strong .
