Tournament Of Roses Parade Honors Hee Haw
One Of Longest-Running TV Series

On New Year's Day, Nashville's music industry will have the attention of the world during the 120th Tournament Of Roses Parade in Pasadena.

In the spirit of this year's parade theme, Hats Off to Entertainment, RFD-TV will enter the parade competition with a float designed to pay tribute to one of the longest running, popular variety shows in television history, Hee Haw.

Further honoring Nashville's music industry, the float will use six of the nearly three dozen roses from the Nashville Music Garden, a one-of-a-kind rose garden that honors the singers, industry leaders and songwriters who have helped make the Nashville music industry the thriving community it is today.

The featured roses will include those created especially to honor country music greats Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Little Jimmy Dickens, Amy Grant, Minnie Pearl and the Grand Ole OpryŽ.

The roses symbolize America's appreciation and respect for each of the honored music icons.
