I am on here almost every day, but there isn't much activity on the boards anymore. So I rarely post anything. This board is certainly not as fun as the "old board".

I check in first thing every morning Carrie.As Laura said not much going on here any more but I have to see what Vince is up to and if anyone posted anything I have to comment on

Same thing with me. I check at least once a day to see if there is anything new posted. Very little new content. Even when Vince does a concert people don't seem to want to share their experiences as much as they have in the past.

Me too, Cathy! I don't get on here as much as I used to since I have a real job now...it's a temporary job for the Census Bureau, but I do try to check in at least once a day. This whole Census job thing could last until Sept. of next year, for those who do a good job. I realized last Thursday that I did two apartment buildings wrong (because the Assistant gave me wrong info when I specifically asked where to take the map spot), but oh well...nothing I can do about it because I already sent it in and the two apt. buildings were during my first week out there alone and the supervisor was teaching another class.

Our 'JOB' as MODS was a 'real job' to me. LOL I had so much fun doing that, and the pay was great! hahahahaha Well, the 'friendships' made was sure more than ANY pay! I just miss it so bad!

Hang in there taking census. Sounds like fun!

I miss the Gill Gazette too. It was tons of fun putting it together and as mods, coming up with new topics to discuss to keep the boards hopping.

Too bad nothing much happens on here now.

Maybe I should have said since I have a paying job now...I took Moderating as a 'real job' too! I even added it to my resume and when I did an interview at Cracker Barrel, the Manager wanted to know more about the moderating than anything else! *L*

That storm was pretty fierce? Are you in Galveston???

We had some thunder Friday morning that rattled the windows here! There was also a house that caught fire down here that morning that might have been attributed to the lightning...for one thing the firefighters couldn't even get to the fire to begin with because of a live downed power line. I didn't go out Friday because of the weather.

No I'm working in Houston still, but have to go to Texas City quite a bit too. Off to TC in a little bit, then back to Houston for the afternoon. Trying to figure out next Tuesday, have to leave Houston, go to TC, then to Austin... way to much driving in 1 day for me

Oh man, that IS a lot of driving, Pam! When you're in Austin, you'll only be about an hour from me, and I'm about 3 hours from Houston.

Ok...this ex mod is jumping in also!! ! I do miss the great times we all had on the old board and miss the interaction with my Vince friends. I also REALLY am missing Vince these days. It has been over a year since I have seen him perform...wayyy too long!

Great to see people writing! I miss you all! Would be nice for everyone to get back on the board like before. We kept up with each other so much and new what everyone was up to. Now, we maybe see a post once a week or MONTH for that matter. I think we ALL are missing that.

Oh this is so nice. Just like old times. I miss the old boards so much and all my old friends. I check in once in awhile but it just isn't the same. I have a picture of the Front row ladies in Vegas on my desk and look at it several times a day. What great memories. Hello to all of you!
