Oh Carrie - we would freeze to death in the high 90s!!!!!! In the Houston area of Texas, and along the Gulf Coast - - - - yesterday the HEAT INDEX was 123!!! Now THAT is hot!!!! We need rain so badly. I'm afraid when the rain starts - it won't know when to quit, though.

Other than that - all is well. Glad to hear from you on the Board.

Well here in PA, we have had some sun and then rain , it just rained here last night and this morning.its been a mixed up summer.

So far last month and this month have been hot. I got a break and went to San Clemete beach .Had a great time. Had lunch at the pier and the ocean breeze was wonderful.Hope eveyone has/will have a good Summer

Hi everyone!The weather here has been nice and hot last week and I guess it's going to be hot this week too.I had to get the little swimming pool out for our bulldog Otis.It was just to darn hot for him.He enjoyed it! This is definitely shore weather. I want to go so bad but my husband hates it.It's hard to believe that summer is soon over.I sure will miss it..Not looking forward to winter.Everyone stay cool and enjoy the rest of the summer! Our Texas summers are often miserably HOT! This one is no exception. I love snow, and REAL winter weather. If I lived in that climate I may not like it so well, but I was born and raised in Texas, so I'm very familiar with our weather. I would be so happy if we just had FOUR, well-defined seasons, but ours kinda run together.

I have three pooches, and only the girl loves water. The two boys run to the far corner of the yard if the water is on. But, the majority of the time, they are all lounging in the air conditioned house

I love the fall, and look forward to the "pumpkin" season. Weather is wonderful, and it's my favorite time of the year. But, Texas fall may not come until late Novemeber. My first child was born on Christmas Day, and I wore a short-sleeved, cotton top to the hospital. When I came home with her, there was ice on the ground. We never know in these parts! As they often say, if you don't like the weather, stick around a few hours and it'll change

hey everybody it's started to feel like fall hear temps are like near 68 hear .we been getting alot of rain this week. carrie ann

hmmmmmm - 'RAIN' ------ ~ seems like I heard of it! Oh yeah, we had plenty last September during Hurricane IKE. We need rain so bad!!!! And, I'd probably freeze to death if the temp dropped to 96 or so!!!!! GEEEEEEZ, what an August!!!!!!!!!!

We've had 50 days of 100+ degree weather this summer and at work they keep it around 75 in there and several of us were freezing to death last week!
