I've been voting for Donny the whole season. I was ashame that he and Kim had that 'wardrobe malfunction' tonight on the show and then he blamed it on his sister! *L* About the only *good* thing I can say about the wardrobe malfunction was that at least it was the hem of her dress that started unravelling and not the top!!!

My father thought for sure Donny would be gone, but I knew he wouldn't. I thought Kelly would be gone, so it was a shock when Joanna and Derrick were the ones eliminated. My father thinks something needs to be done w/ the voting, but IMO maybe the winner should not always be about the person who is the best dancer from the first day, maybe the winner should be the person who went from being near the bottom of the group w/ their scores to close to the top. In Donny's case on Mon. night, I'm sure the 'wardrobe malfunction' caused a big portion of the problem w/ his first dance because both he and Kim were getting caught up in that hem coming down! All I could think of after I saw the top of her dress was "it's a good thing that string didn't come from the TOP part of her dress!!"

I just keep wondering how much the fans really influence the vote - I know what they say but the judges seem to get more of who they want than the popular ones but in Donny's case I think the fans must be a bigger influence than the judges like! So many of the dancers just don't have a big fan base to vote for them. I know the NFL stars have a huge fan base that votes for them and they even get together with their cell phones to have parties for them.

The fans vote is key in who wins. I thought Joanna was amazing but she is a model so how many knew who she was.I had never heard of her.I love the Osmonds especially Donny and Marie. I voted for Donny because I wanted him to be there as long as possible.I have thought for a long time that Derek and Joanna would win . Don't know of anything that can be done to have it totally decided on their dancing ability unless the fans are stopped from voting . Having said all that I really enjoy the show.
