He’s sold upwards of 26 million albums and won 19 Grammy Awards, the most of any male country artist. There’s a reason Vince Gill is known far and wide for his song writing and performances. Here’s what the Country Music Hall of Famer had to say about his upcoming performance at the Fraze Pavilion.

Q: What can fans expect from your show?

A: They can expect a pretty laid back, personal show. Very informal and comfortable. I’m really excited to get back to the Dayton area. I’ve had some really great times there in the past.

Q: You’ve been doing concerts since the early ’70s, has the way you perform changed over the years?

A: You know, it hasn’t really changed much at all. It’s just me and the band playing our instruments the best that we can, putting on the best show we can. You won’t see us at the front of the stage doing tricks, but we really focus on making the music good.
