What are some of your very favorite activities (This can be something you participate in such as sports or just as a spectator)
and where all have you visited in the U.S.A. or out of the country ?
Hard to leave Vince out but here goes .

I love certain movies, reading, trivia,Nascar, certain card games or board games and my computer . I can almost without fail find something enjoyable on TV. and I love to travel. I have been to all but 5 States(Alaska,Delaware,Virginia,South Carolina and North Dakota, don't really know how I missed that last one) and Canada (Ontario and Quebec) and just barely in to Mexico .
That's all folks . ohmy.gif

Well...I'm absolutely addicted to music. I love country/western above every other genre, but I also enjoy artists such as Amy Grant, Josh Groban, Barry Manilow and Olivia Newton-John. I do enjoy a good book, but I have to be in the mood for reading. Same thing for cross-stitching. I love to go see movies at the theater, as well as watching a movie that I've seen dozens of times before at home. My favorite all-time actress is Lucille Ball. My favorite all-time actor, James Garner. Not a real fan of watching any kinds of sports on tv (and neither is Bruce, thank goodness!!!). I do love to travel, whether it's a short trip up to Nashville or a trip to Hawaii. I've been to Hawaii twice, Mexico twice and the Eastern Bahamas once. I have plans to go to Australia one day and I plan on visiting Alaska via a cruise next year.

Nice thread, Anna!!! I like these where we get to learn more about each other!!!

Other things I like to do...being on my computer (doing anything *L*), and watching TV. Have to be in the mood to do my jewelry and jigsaw puzzles. I like to go to concerts...have tix to see Dierks Bentley next month...would like to go see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in Dallas, but tix are too expensive...same with Stars on Ice. I love to watch figure skating, especially exhibitions, but to actually go to a show, we just can't afford it anymore!

Great topic. I love being on the computer, you can find a lot of interesting things.
I love music, but mostly country, Elvis, Bee Gee's B.J. Thomas etc.
I use to love to read, but since my 2nd grandchild was born, I haven't had time for it. I now have 4 and 1 or more of them are usually here. But I love it.
Only place I have been out of the country is to St. Martin, we flew to Puerto Rico but didn't see anything but the air port. I have been to most of the eastern states. My favorite places to go is either Nashville or Gatlinburg TN
I love to watch old movie from the 50's and 60's Rock Hudson/ Doris Day ect.
I also loved Walk The Line. I saw it 2 times at the movies, and have watched it 2 more times since my daughter bought me the DVD for my birthday.

Newest movie...'Man of the Year' (Robin Williams)...we went to see this movie yesterday..it's really cute & funny..with a bit of conspiracy thrown in. It was overall amusing and entertaining...

I like to go to concerts, of course, but not so many anymore as they are really getting expensive. Have gone to a couple of Gaither concerts this year. I also like to watch ice skating and will be going to SOI again this year. Watch Nascar and once in a great while get to go see one. Like to travel but havent done too much of it and thought that we would once I retired but not so far. Like to read and lately have been reading alot of Debbie Macomber novels and then I also enjoy knitting and always have something there that I am working on.
Enjoy my time with granddaughter and she has things that she gets me interested in too such as things about nature.
My future dream is to meet up with some of you soon and get to know the ones from the board. Maybe soon.

Wow! Great topic. For me it's concerts when I can afford them and don't have to drive several hours to get to them. Perfect example, my favorite next to Vince is Randy Travis and he was at Turning Stone, now I went to Turning Stone to see Vince, but knowing just how far of a drive that is, and in this weather, I chose not to go. I would LOVE to see him again in concert, if he would only come back to my town, last trip I went to Chautauqua to see him and had to get a rental car. It was really a bit too much. I've seen him many many many times before so I let this concert slide. in hopes for a closer venue.

I've done the Stars On Ice Show for years, but when Scott Hamilton retired that was it for me. It was way too expensive and just not as much fun anymore. We went to one after he retired and it lacked alot.

I am also a die hard country music fan, have been since the early 80's., grew up on it basically. My dad got me hooked when we used to go see the Statler Brothers every year, and then Tammy Wynette when she came to town. The artists just don't come here like they used to. Guess they don't like the cold of the Northeast.

This Summer I did alot of swimming in the pool, pool parties, etc. and basically had a ball outdoors.

I grew Giant Pumpkins (3 of them) weighing in at well over 200 pounds a piece. Which for a rookie, isn't all too bad. Planning on next years patch already. I love to do gardening and I've been planting bulbs like crazy since we moved into this house 2 years ago.

I've been getting into the Sudoku games a bit on the internet and they are very interesting. Time consuming, but at night when you don't want to watch what is on television, that is a good thing to do.

Aside from that, and work and family, of course, not much time for anything else. Keeps me busy.

My last concert I went to was Dierks Bently when Modern Day Drifter came out last Fall. It was AWESOME because he was in a college crowd at a college, and he did an awesome job! Got to go to a meet and greet too thanks to the fan club.

Our local radio station is having a Concert for the Families to support the Ronald McDonald house which will feture Jamie O'Niel, Taylor Swift, Chris Young and Carolina Rain. Not a bad show! I can't wait. I hoope to see it, but with my schedule latley it's hit and miss. I've become quite the home body whenever possible.

WELL ,
I LIKE TO GO TO CONCERTS I HAVE ONLY BEEN TO ABOUT 10 OF VINCE'S BUT I ALSO GOT TO SEE OTHER COUNTRY STARS THAT WERE WITH HIM LIKE BRYAN WHITE, PATTI LOVELACE, TRISHA YEARWOOD, TERI CLARK I THINK THAT'S ALL THE REST WERE JUST VINCE ALONE.
I LIKE A LOT OF COUNTRY MUSIC BUT I WILL LISTEN TO 70'S,80'S, 90'S MUSIC. I WOULD LIKE TO GO TO MORE CONCERTS BUT I COMPLETELY LOST 100% OF MY HEARING IN MY RIGHT EAR. SO MY HUSBAND DON'T THINK IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA IF I GO TO ANYMORE CONCERTS UNLESS I WORE PLUGS BUT WHAT FUN IS THAT IF YOU CAN'T HERE THE MUSIC WITH PLUGS IN YOUR EARS. I LOVE TO TRAVEL WE HAVE BEEN TO FLORIDA, MICHIGAN, MAINE, NEW YORK, TENNESSEE, WENT THROUGH ALL THE NEW ENGLAND STATES. I LIKE TO WATCH FOOTBALL AND BASEBALL ON TV MY FAVORITE FOOTBALL TEAM IS THE OHIO STATE BUCKEYES, BASEBALL CINNINATI REDS, AND WHEN MY SON PLAYS BASEBALL HE PLAYS ON A PONY LEAGUE TEAM. I LOVE TO BE ON THE COMPUTER WHEN I HAVE TIME. I LOVE TO WATCH TV LIKE ALL THE REALITY SHOWS AND NCIS, CRIMINAL MINDS, DEAL OR NO DEAL, AND ESPECIALLY TAKE CARE OF MY FAMILY ESPECIALLY MY DISABLED SON. MY HUSBAND AND I DON'T GET OUT MUCH AT NIGHT BECAUSE OF OUR DISABLED SON CAUSE WE CAN'T FIND ANYONE TO WATCH HIM CAUSE NONE OF THE FAMILY MEMBERS DON'T KNOW HOW FEED CODY BY G-TUBE AND I THINK THEY ARE SCARED TO FEED HIM. BUT WHEN HE IS AT SCHOOL MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE TIME TO OURSELVES. WE GO OUT FOR LUNCH AND DO OTHER STUFF. WELL I THINK THAT IS IT SO I AM SIGNING OFF TILL NEXT TIME.
