I like to go to concerts, of course, but not so many anymore as they are really getting expensive. Have gone to a couple of Gaither concerts this year. I also like to watch ice skating and will be going to SOI again this year. Watch Nascar and once in a great while get to go see one. Like to travel but havent done too much of it and thought that we would once I retired but not so far. Like to read and lately have been reading alot of Debbie Macomber novels and then I also enjoy knitting and always have something there that I am working on.
Enjoy my time with granddaughter and she has things that she gets me interested in too such as things about nature.
My future dream is to meet up with some of you soon and get to know the ones from the board. Maybe soon.

Wow! Great topic. For me it's concerts when I can afford them and don't have to drive several hours to get to them. Perfect example, my favorite next to Vince is Randy Travis and he was at Turning Stone, now I went to Turning Stone to see Vince, but knowing just how far of a drive that is, and in this weather, I chose not to go. I would LOVE to see him again in concert, if he would only come back to my town, last trip I went to Chautauqua to see him and had to get a rental car. It was really a bit too much. I've seen him many many many times before so I let this concert slide. in hopes for a closer venue.
I've done the Stars On Ice Show for years, but when Scott Hamilton retired that was it for me. It was way too expensive and just not as much fun anymore. We went to one after he retired and it lacked alot.
I am also a die hard country music fan, have been since the early 80's., grew up on it basically. My dad got me hooked when we used to go see the Statler Brothers every year, and then Tammy Wynette when she came to town. The artists just don't come here like they used to. Guess they don't like the cold of the Northeast.
This Summer I did alot of swimming in the pool, pool parties, etc. and basically had a ball outdoors.
I grew Giant Pumpkins (3 of them) weighing in at well over 200 pounds a piece. Which for a rookie, isn't all too bad. Planning on next years patch already. I love to do gardening and I've been planting bulbs like crazy since we moved into this house 2 years ago.
I've been getting into the Sudoku games a bit on the internet and they are very interesting. Time consuming, but at night when you don't want to watch what is on television, that is a good thing to do.
Aside from that, and work and family, of course, not much time for anything else. Keeps me busy.
My last concert I went to was Dierks Bently when Modern Day Drifter came out last Fall. It was AWESOME because he was in a college crowd at a college, and he did an awesome job! Got to go to a meet and greet too thanks to the fan club.
Our local radio station is having a Concert for the Families to support the Ronald McDonald house which will feture Jamie O'Niel, Taylor Swift, Chris Young and Carolina Rain. Not a bad show! I can't wait. I hoope to see it, but with my schedule latley it's hit and miss. I've become quite the home body whenever possible.
