Vinces' "These Days" is now at #10 on amazon.com. Out of the Top 25 Best Sellers only one that is currently released is not available, you guessed it "These Days" takes 3-6 WEEKS to deliver. how is that possible?

Reggie - I have been harping on this for several weeks....I have emailed and I have called Amazon. I have voiced my concern to MCA in an email as well....
Why? I don't know but it irks me as much as it does you.

I wonder how much "impact" the Amazon sales actually have on the charts- as we know in the weeks prior to the actual release of "These Days" Vince was the top selling country artist at Amazon- yet he only came in 4th on the Billboard chart the first week. Dierks Bentley, who wasn't even close to him on the list, was #1.

I am not sure. I think Amazon skews a tad older in people who buy things (Dierks sells like "hotcakes" on Itunes - while not as well on Amazon).
I think Vince sells very well on Amazon and that can only help his sales overall.
I wish I knew what Vince was selling weekly overall (and even at Amazon etc.).

Checked my Walmart (and Sams) today...Walmart had 3 copies left...didn't see any in Sams, but don't know if they even had any to begin with.

I haven't seen any copies in our local Sam's either, Val...maybe I'll check again this weekend because Sam's doesn't always get the cd releases as quickly as some of the other stores...

They had plenty of Sugarland's new set, which just came out yesterday. They also had Craig Morgan's buy one get one free CD set...both are in those bubble type things that are very hard to open. I got Craig's on Sunday...thought it was a good deal, because I'd been wanting to get "My Kind of Livin'" and when I saw it in with Craig's new one for the same price as you pay for one, I thought it was worth it.
Oh, and BTW, this is off-topic, but since I didn't see it at Walmart, thought I'd mention it here...our Sams had a DVD called Three Wooden Crosses...11 Inspirations Videos from Today's Country Artists. It has videos by Amy, Tim McGraw, LeAnn Rimes, Jo Dee Messina, Craig Morgan, Randy Travis, Wynonna, Sawyer Brown, Steve Wariner, The Judds and John Michael Montgomery. Amy's video on there is Carry You.

Was that at Sam's, Val??? If so, I'll have to check that out. I really liked Craig's last cd and am hoping that Sugarland's new cd is good as well..

Sams had both Craig's set and Sugarland's set. Couldn't find a price on Sugarland's but it was probably about the same price as Walmart, since Craig's was about the same...maybe a dollar cheaper.

That's one that I would like to get, also...will probably get it at Walmart, since my father can get a discount. Anything under $10 and I'll usually just get it myself, since it wouldn't even be $1 off, so I don't bother him with that, but usually anything over $10, I'll have him use his discount. *L*
Oh, and for anyone interested, the Three Wooden Crosses DVD was $9.62 at Sam's. I think Craig's dual CD set was $12.88 in there. And if anyone's in the market for Easy CD Creator 9, they had it for around $73 (and apparently this version allows you to make your own ringtones)...might just ask my mom for that for Christmas...don't know yet...
