Yes...it is sad. But I guess we should all be so lucky to live 93 years, right??? My sympathies to his family. I don't remember too much about his term as President..I was only about 11 years old when he first went into office...

Yes, I did like President Ford. When he was in Congress he helped us as I wrote him that the Nationa Guard did not pay my husband for sometime that he had served and within two weeks we had it with him replying if we had received and if we needed further help to let him know.
Our nearby town of Grand Rapids is sure going to be busy the next few days as he is being buried there. I have never been to his museum but sure plan to go.
Yes, he will be missed.

That's good to know Lona,because I don't think we really knew a lot about him. I think he carried a heavy load while he was President.

And it would be great to live to 93 and still be as active as he was for so long. I heard this morning that Betty is really not doing well at all. I hope she gets through all the services that's going to happen. It's going to be very hard for her. She has her family and I'm sure they will watch out for her.
