biggrin.gif Well, until I really got into liking Vince's music...probably early 90s , when it was maybe late 80s,anyways....

I have always loved that song LET ME LOVE YOU TONIGHT, when I was growing up in the 70s...but at that time I had no idea, that was VINCE singing it..LOL !!!!

It must have been a sign for me to like Vince later on, and to eventually find out it was HIM singing that song, furthering my appreciation for him/his music...LOL !!!
Good thing I followed my instincts, even if I didn't realize it at the time !

Also, back when I was about 18/19, anyways, legal to be in bars in Canada...I remember going to a friends house in an area within my hometown, about a 1/2 hr bus ride from my place, and we went to the local shopping mall, and at that time, it had a bar/restaurant in the mall.
I remeber seeing VINCE GILL"S name up on the sign outside the place. well, duh, had I known it was HIM, I would went to see him perform there... This was before he got to be really well known.

Oh Well..but I at least remember seeing his name...in big , bold letters on the sign.....VGCG laugh.gif

Isn't that somethin'? It's weird thinking how far he's come since the days of playing in little restaurants in malls. biggrin.gif You definitely had good instincts!! Glad you've joined us here on the Board - it's so fun hearing from new friends and long-time VG fans.
