David and I ate at Cracker Barrel the other evening and I picked up the CD Songs of the Year. I knew had been out a while but had watched part of making of the CD on CMT the other night. There were only two CDs left so I bought one before we went in to eat, lol.

Three of Vince's songs are on it. When I Call Your Name, sung by Jo Dee Messina,
I Still Believe In You, song by Jamie O'Neal and Michael McDonald
Go Rest High On That Mountain sung by Deana Carter and Heart


When I watched the show on CMT Trisha sang I Still Believe in You with Michael McDonald, maybe Jamie couldn't make it or something.

Anyway, all I can say is the CD is good but I am sooooooo very glad that Vince sang the songs and made them hits, lol. No one can sing them like Vince. They just aren't the same. I'm glad three of his songs made the CD but again no one sings them like our Vince. IMO the best of the three was Jamie O'Neal and Michael making a duet out of I Still Believe in You but it still wasn't Vince..
