Just out of curiousity, over the years, Vince has gone through many hair transitions of length...so, do you like Vince's hair short/long/doesn't matter ?.....VGCG

As long as he continues to sing, play, write ----- he could shave his head, it wouldn't matter to me. I love hearing him. Well, maybe I wouldn't like it if he shaved his head!

Seriously, any length except super short. Actually, if it's on Vince, I don't really care because I love the man for who he is. It's more than a crush on a musician, yanno what I mean?

I really like his hair the way it is but i have seen is hair long and i have a pic him when it was almost shaved but at tht time he did it for a bentfit for kids, so as long as i can hear his awesome voice it is great with me. vgfs loves VG. we are happy to have him.

I like it kinda punky .Like he had it when he did the promo for making of The Reason Why video. Also the picture of him at the Bluebird wih Bill Monroe's picture on the wall behind him. Sherrie made a wallpaper of that one .........called the Legends,Whose Gonna Fill Their Shoes. Awesome hair. I don't think I would want it to be any longer than that picture .But like Cathy, anyway he wants it is fine with me. Keep on singing Vince.

I had always heard that Vince shaved his head because of a little guy who was going through chemo had lost all of his hair & Vince did it in support of him...I think that was during his High Lonesome Sound tour...I have pictures from back then....& I am with the rest of you, he looks great with no hair, short hair, long hair, back hair, chest hair, nose hair etc......LOL

Vince gave several reasons for shaving his head- one being it was oomething he had always threatened to do and finally did. Another was to show Jenny that peer pressure was hard, but you needed to resist it and it didnt' matter what you looked like on the outside, it was what was inside that counted.

I think it was Opry member Skeeter Davis who was going thru chemo at the time. Don't remember what kind of cancer she had, but supporting her was one of the reasons he gave...plus the reasons Mary Anne stated about Jenny getting a lot of peer pressure.

I have heard the reason for him shaving his head but honestly I couldn't tell you why he did it.
