I am so upset that the press has not even talked about Vince.Winning#18 Grammy!More then any other artist EVER in country music.I read that Vince "regrets"That he was not there to get his award but he spent the night with his family.Glad he was with them but wish they all went with him lolol Iknow he starts his 5 week tour today I think?But I Feel bad because I think this was a biggie for him.He said he was happy he stayed home so I sure hope he got a big hug From Amy and the kids.As far as the Chics.I believe they should have the right to say what they feel even if I don't agree with some of it.They got death threats and everything so where is freedom of speech?? Mamabear, I don't think there is any reason for anyone to be upset with you. I just wish that they would stop getting there fan include in their statements one time they said they weren't country. Well the first time I saw them they were opening for Clay Walker can't get more country then that.

I know lol I remember that too.I was never a huge fan but I just feel strong That they are human and have a right to feel and say what they feel just like we do.Boy wish they would say more about Vince.But I think next year he will do a big sweep and show them all! There's another thread on this already, but Vince only won one award whereas the Chicks won 5, including one o fthe "big ones'. Anyone who wins 5 awards is going to get extensive coverage regardless of who the are- when Vince won his 5 CMA awards back in 1993 or 1994 he got extensive press coverage.
