I wonder if MCA will ever issue a Vince Gill Greatest Hits #2?? (Souvenir's 2 etc.). It's "odd" that it's been 12 years since the ONLY hits package. Most arists put out a greatest hits every 5 to 6 years. And it looks like another year or two will pass before a hits package at least to focus on "These Days".
There has been so much music since the last one (especially after "These Days"
). It will be interesting to what type of package (or if) a greatest hits type CD ever hits the shelves.Usually an artist will release a greatest hits and incluse 2 to 3 NEW songs etc.
It's been so long since the last one Vince will have to release a 4CD greatest hits set with a whole CD of new songs!
I just hope any "greatest" hits includes rarities, special inclusions that make it special for hard core fans as well as "casual" fans who may tend to only buy "hits" packages....something for everyone!...AND it's been over 5 years since the last Holiday/Christmas release! A whole other topic!

) but I think Steven Speilberg got a bunch of artist from Nashville to do this CD. Vince already had one.He told them I have the perfect one and it is called ,Once In Awhile. It's a fine cd and Wynonna,Randy Travis,Reba and lots more. If you haven't heard it it sure is worth the buy. Another one is Child Of The Promise. Vince and Amy do quit a lengthy piece on that one. It's very Biblical .Amy plays Anna The Prophetess and Vince is Simeon.It's a play , on a cd. If you would be so inclined it is another kind of Vince you don't hear often. I think a lot of people on the board has it.
I too have often wondered when in the world another Greatest Hits package will come out and you are so right - it would have to be a multi-CD set to fit them all in. I mean think about it - going all the way back to his "When Love Find You" CD!! And I would LOVE another Christmas CD...
