I was wondering what the band members names are. I saw Vince in Atlanta and he was awesome as usual. I love him and his music. I thought the band was wonderful. I just can't remember all their names. Any help would be appreciated
Kathy Lorentzen
Drummer-Billy Thomas, Keyboards, John Hobbs, Pete Wasner, Bass-Michael Rhodes, Acoustic guitar-Jeff White, electric guitar-Tom Brett, background vocals-Dawn Sears, Becca Bramlett, Banjo-Charlie Cushman, Fiddle-Deanie, I'm blanking on her last name, maybe Richards or Richardson (somebody help me out here), horns-The Saffire Blue Horns

And I am completely blank on the steel player, I have no idea why, I'll remember in the middle of the night.

Okay, I did this without looking anything up, so if I messed up somebody, don't shoot me. This is pretty close.
TechnicolourDreams
Deanie Richardson on the fiddle. Isn't Tommy White with him ?

Won't shoot you I'm here to help. It's Tom Britt on guitar, Russ Pahl on steel,it's Bekka also Al Anderson was on the first run on guitar I don't know if he's still playing.

Thanks for the spelling help! And no, Al Anderson isn't on this leg of the tour. Vince told us he only signed on for the first part, he has something else going on now. That's why they aren't playing Sweet Little Corrina in the show now. I asked Vince about it because he did sing it last fall at the shows we went to, but he said Saturday that Al is a big part of the sound and the feel of that song so they dropped it from the set list when he left the tour.

I also don't know how many of you have noticed, but Vince is using a monitor now. Hugh told us that it only contains the words to the new songs, none of the old ones. So if he blanks on a standard, he's on his own. We thought that was pretty funny. We've all seen him go totally blank on occasion!

Have to give a shout-out for my buddy, Bekka on bgv!
She totally rocks and is as cool as she is talented. :-)
Kathy Lorentzen
I agree, Bekka is very cool. She was totally sweet to me this weekend, we chatted and she was adorable. And yes, she has the talent going!

Kathy..you did great!!! I actually met one of the horn players in LV...but I forgot his name. I think it was the trumpet player. His wife and friends/family were sitting on the row behind us one night. He was very sweet and so totally surprised that we came all the way from AL to LV for all 3 nights of the shows at the Hilton.

Met Bekka out there in LV too...she's a riot!!!

I think I need to print out some of these posts so that I can remember his band members names! When I don't have a brain freeze like I did earlier tonight I can usually name most of their names, especially Jeff, Pete, Dawn and Bekka. I should be able to remember Billy Thomas, because I remember one time when I saw Vince (think it was 1994) he said that Billy was part of McBride and the Ride until they broke up and Vince gave Billy a job and he had two drummers.

Billy was alos a part of Vince's band before he lefft to be a part of "McBride and the Ride". he said that Vince told him he would always be welcomed back.

Billy Thomas also drums currently with the "Little River Band" when he can fit those gigs into his schedule. He also co-wrote a song on These Days with Vince.

Tom Britt was playing guitar with Jonell Moser tonight at a local club here in Nashville. Bekka was there too to support her buddy, Jonell, and came up on stage to sing bgv on a few songs. It was a blast!
