Sharon, you absolutely hit the nail right on the head. When I first got the set, I was so eager to get my hands on some new Vince Gill work, that I just started playing it as quickly as I could so I could just hear all the songs. I thought I was most happy with the Groovy album, and I love it dont' get me wrong, BUT, after I had a chance to sit and really listen to all the albums, now I can't decide which one I love the most! ALL probably! My favorite songs (as of right now smile.gif ) are What you give away, These Days and A River Like You. I think Vince is right on when he describes the phenomenon of blood relatives harmonizing, it sounds hauntingly beautiful. I saw him in concert out in Calif. Bay Area a long time ago and Jenny came out and sang Strawberry Wine with him. She sounded good, but now that she's grown up, their harmonizing is just beautiful. If any of you get to talk to him, please ask him to do A River Like You. Thanks. And, thanks to the reviewer!

I, too, could have written this great review, and I appreciate the link to read it. The only tiny quibble I have with the author is her comparison of "What You Give Away" to Foreigner's "I Wanna Know What Love Is." From the first moment I heard the song, I thought it paid homage to Roy Orbison.

Other than that, it seemed the author was in my head as she commented about all the wonderful feelings I experience over and over as I listen to "These Days."

Thanks again for the link.

WOW is right. WOW!! She needs to join our club, huh? Or apparently she is an unofficial member.
