I was drinking my juice this morning and reading the Sunday Tennessean and lo and behold a turned a page and WOW!! Suddenly a gorgeous, color full page photo of Vince jumped out at me! MCA Records, Fitzgerald-Hartley and the William Morris Agency paid for a wonderful ad that said in big headlines: "CONGRATULATIONS, VINCE! Congratulations on winning your 18th Grammy and going platinum with your groundbreaking box set These Days." There are a few quotes from the New York Times, National Public Radio and The Detroit News about the box set. Then it says in big letter at the bottom of the page: "Come celebrate with Vince Gill as he brings the These Days tour to the Ryman Auditorium for two special nights April 4 and 5.

All in all a beautiful ad with a breath-taking photo of Vince to boot!

Actually, MCa and F&H ahve taken out full page "ads" for Vince before- usually in Billboard or R&R after he's won an award.

That's great Maggie. Is there anyway for us to see this ad? I wonder if the fan club could put it in our news section. I'd love to see it. Thanks for letting us know about it.
