I just thought it would be interesting, with Lonestar losing their record deal and Richie McDonald leaving, if you prefer hearing Richie McDonald and Lonestar on the radio or Rascal Flatts.

I like lonestar and they have some good songs- but I like Rascal Flatts more.

I like both bands, but have to say I prefer Lonestar. I think with every album, Rascal Flatts moves more toward pop and farther away from country. I still like their music for the most part, but I no longer consider them country.

While we seem to prefer Lonestar (I voted for them too)...Rascal Flats latest is almost at 6 Miliion units sold...yes 6 million! One of the best selling artists in all genres at the moment.....Lonestars latest sold....well a lot less than that. smile.gif That's a shame.
Rascal Flats is good pop music - not good country music but as always that's just mt honest opinion smile.gif And I am out voted by the millions of "country" music buters these days. smile.gif

Lonestar for sure. Though I'm not as crazy as Lonestar as I used to be (their older music was much better), I can't really stand Rascal Flatts anymore (though I do like three of their songs).

Lonestar for sure for me also and I'm not crazy about Rascal Flatts - I think there are a lot of younger "country" fans that prefer the younger crowd and only buy their music and that really can rack up in the millions - lots of teenagers have lots of spending money and can make their voices heard that way. Some of the younger girl singers don't have a very wide range to their voices and the guys really don't either. They don't have to stretch on the songs they sing.
