My mother passed away last Sunday night from a long illness. Thanks to Vince for the wonderful music you made to put a smile on my moms face. She lit up everytime he was on TV or when I told her about all the awards he won. She adored the fact that he called her numerous times during her long ordeal. She also with pride displayed the picture she took with him at the Universal Amphiteatre years ago. That is the way I will remember my mom the way she looked in that picture. Music is one of the last things she was still able to enjoy. Music is the great healer of all. Thanks more than you will ever know.

Reggie, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. Be thankful for all the years and memories you had with her. I never had those memories. My mom died before I even started school and I have no memories of her, just some pictures of her. I'm glad Vince's music helped you and your mom through the difficult times.

Thanks EVERYONE!!! Sorry but I haven't been on the internet very much trying to help my dad get through this. They were married 46 1/2 years to the day. My mom & dad would have been one of the couples that Vince pointed out when he played "Look at Us". But thanks again especially to the people I met in Vegas. I have a free Southwest Airlines ticket & may use it to go to Nashville to see both Ryman shows.
