Finally got to use a Christmas gift blink.gif . Josh was fantastic and very cute wink.gif . If anyone has heard/seen him you know what I mean. He did 3 encores and was extremely pleased that he had filled US Airways Arena. He said this will be something he can tell his grand children. The last encore ,we kept waiting for him to come back and suddenly there was a big commotion at the other end of the arena and here he ran through the arena singing and grabbing every hand he could touch then he went on stage at either end and touched as many as he could reach. He had a Phoenix Suns shirt on and on the back it had GROBAN 07. Then he did You Raise Me Up ,which had me and my daughter in tears. He has such a great personality and his range is incredible. Anyone who knows about him or not if he is near you GO see this fantastic young talent. He was 26 a couple of weeks ago.

Another thing he talked about was going to Africa and he met Nelson Mandela. They were to go to a children's home and he said he was all set to be upset because it's in such a poor area but he got there and was so amazed at how these children did so much with barely anything. He was also talking about children of the world. There were about 3 or 4 little ones down in front and he sat down and signed autographs and people brought him gifts and he was so gracious. He spoke to the little kids first. He ask this one little girl her name and she told him and he said ,are you having fun and she goes ,huh??? Her Mom elbowed her a bit and he ask her again and she said oh yes. Fantastic young man and so talented.

Someone ask me if he was better than Vince and I said it would be ludicrous to compare because they do different things. Each is as great as the other in what they do ............however, I did say Vince was my favorite but I have wanted to see Josh for so long and man I'd go again in a heartbeat. cool.gif

I love Josh too, Anna. Have all his CDs except the last one, haven't got it yet. I love the DVD too. Don't know if I want to spend the money to see him in person, the only people I have paid to see are Vince & Amy, but maybe some time if he comes out here to San Diego.

You're right, Anna, Vince and Josh sing different things, but I have always thought if Vince wanted to he could sing the same type of music as Josh. Vince can pretty much sing anything he wants, he has such a great voice.

I saw Josh last night. It was my Moms Christmas present. Josh was amazing! He probably has one of the best voices I think I've ever heard. The concert sounded really similar to the one you went to Anna. I was surprised how funny Josh was, I haven't noticed that part of him on tv.

My sister and I had to laugh since we didn't really know his music we didn't know he did so many songs in another language *L* To compare him to Vince would be pretty difficult since their style is so different, I'd say they both have crystal clear voices and Josh definately has a huge range and can really belt out the notes. Of course Vince is still my favorite, but I'd see Josh again smile.gif

Saturday we are off to see Jersey Boys, my moms belated Birthday present!

Pam,AOL used to have a 40 minute concert from an airplane hanger in L.A. I listened to it every morning so I knew the kid had a great sense of humor. The same violinist and guitar player and I suppose much of the same band .I think he doesn't change the instrumentist .They took it away just like the Sympatico concert Vince did in Canada around NBT time. To bad they wouldn't leave them on. AOL Sessions has a lot of really good music though. I kept telling my daughter ,"I just want to hug him" . He is diffinitely huggable . wink.gif
