I think Tim is as popular as ever and this decline in CD sales first week (compared to sales of his last CD) just shows how many people are buying via online downloads (Itunes etc.)....and the ongoing overall decline in all CD sales....

Tim McGraw's "Let It Go" bows at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 in a week with seven releases that debut in the top 10. The Curb effort sold 325,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, giving the country superstar his fourth No. 1 on the tally, and his ninth on Top Country Albums. His last studio set, 2004's "Live Like You Were Dying," moved 766,000 in its first week.

I really like Tim and Faith.
I'm going to their concert here in the Tacoma Dome on June 14. My first time to see either one of them. My sister is supposed to come over for her post cancer checkup then from Montana and she has tentatively said she will go with me but I don't have complete faith she really will come - she is not a person you can be sure will be at any given place at a given time. So, I could end up going alone for all $209 for the 18th row - not that great for a club member but if you don't join one of their fan clubs you can't get a ticket of any kind unless you get it from a radio station.
