I am so proud to be a Vince fan tonight. I just watched Vince absolutely nail his performance.......how awesome!!!! Vince not only sang perfectly but he really rocked out on that guitar and showed people that Vince Gill is still very much around and doing what he does best!!! Way to go Vince!!!!

OH MY GOD!!!! He really did NAIL IT!!! That's the best rendition I've heard of that song! I think he picked a terrific song to showcase the band, the songwriting, his wonderful voice and his PHENOMINAL GUITAR PLAYING!!

The show was great Vince you sang beautiful, I loved the guitar on Sweet Thing. Reba did a good job!!! I really did not care for the suit Vince had on but I enjoyed everything else!!!!!! gillgirl In PA.

It really doesn't matter what you wear when you give a performance like that! He was so ON last night, he couldn't have been better if he tried to!

I think it would have been incredibly bad if they had tried to cut him off at the end when he took it and ran with it! Yes, I think he did get a really big applause! I think what happened last night is he got the attention of a lot of people that haven't thought too much about him lately! I think we're going to see more interest in the CD's and him in general.

IT WOULD BE ABOUT TIME!!!!!! These people now know a little of what they've been missing after they saw and heard his performance last night!

Yes, Tim McGraw did sing a heart jerker. It's especially hard to hear stuff like that when your son is in uniform and has been to Iraq twice. I'm truly blessed that he has returned twice. It was hard to stop crying after the song was over.

Anyway, WAY TO GO VINCE....YOU'RE THE BEST!

OMG Charlie. You missed an awesome performance . Vince had that guitar smoking. I'll reaffirm my opinion and that is VINCE is the BEST .Bottom line.

I'm like another poster, after Vince didn't get it for album of the year I almost turned the TV off but am glad I didn't because I would have missed an awesome performance by Vince. I just wanted to get up and shout, You show um Vince, lol.

I found most of the show quite boring but I thought Reba did a good job. I'm glad Brad won and also glad that George's song , Give it A Way won. I thought Martina did a good job and looked beautiful and I was really impressed with Tim's song and of course Vince.

Vince did an AWESOME job last night closing the show. They saved the best for last! It was the best! I really enjoyed seeing him play with the band again, memories of the show here in March. Loved it!

Tim did an awesome job as did Faith, loved her new hairdo! Also loved Taylor Swift singing to Tim, and introducing herself to him. She's such a sweetheart and a classy lady for such a youngster.

I'm not a fan of Shania but it was good to see her again, and I loved the duet that Reba did. She did an awesome job as host as usual. All in all a good program and I loved that there was so much music. IF someone wasn't a country music fan and wanted to see who the most current and best performers are, last night was the night to showcase it. My hubby is not a country music fan, but he did sit down to watch a few of the performances. He did get to see Josh Turner perform, but he didn't stay up with me to see the entire program. He had an extremely long day at the office training, then we worked on the pool last night before the show started. All in all a great show.

I definitely agree that they saved the best for last! Vince was rocking and showing everyone he's still arond and will be for a long time. He was awesome with the guitar at the end. It was worth staying up for. I hope he got everyone's attention with that performance and it helps the CD get more exposure.

Vince is ALWAYS GREAT!! I was sitting there watching him thinking, 1)how cool I had my picture taken with him in January, and 2) he always sounds perfect no matter when I've ever seen him.. I can't say that about some of others last night on the show, I missed the first half and I won't name names, but who I saw in the 2nd half were not very good (exception is Tim McGraw). I am a AI fan and watch every week when they get ripped apart by the judges and these very famous people don't even sound good on the award shows... hmmm... Anyways, as I said, Vince was perfect, singing and playing, always is and I love him.

I MISSED VINCE ON TUESDAY FOR ONE THING WE HAD THUNDERSTORM WATCHES AND THE WEATHER MAN KEPT BREAKING IN ON CHANNEL 7 AND ANOTHER THING MY OLDEST SON HAD A PONY LEAGUE GAME AT 6PM AND IT DIDN'T GET OVER TIL AFTER 8PM THEN I HAD TO HELP HIM PACK HIS CLOTHES BECAUSE HE WAS GOING TO WASHINGTON D.C. WITH HIS 8TH SCHOOL CLASS. I HAD TO HAVE HIM AT HIS SCHOOL AT 1:30 AM BECAUSE THEY WERE LEAVING AT 2AM WEDNESDAY AND WILL BE BACK FRIDAY NIGHT AT ABOUT 10 OR 11 PM.














MY DISABLED SON NEEDED A BATH SO I MISSED THE FIRST HOUR. THEN THE LAST HOUR IS WHEN WEATHER MAN KEPT BREAKING IN. SO I FIGURED I ALL READY MISSED VINCE ANY WAY. SO I GUESS I WILL NEVER GET TO SEE IT UNLESS SOMEONE TAPED IT AND I CAN BUY ONE OFF OF SOMEONE.

I think us VGFS love Vince and when you have him and hear him sing and that Guitar, you have the best, he just tore the stage up with the music it was awesome.

Yes, Vince was wonderful as usual !!!! His performance was the best on the show in my opinion ! I agree with another poster, most of the time when you hear some other stars perform live, they are not nearly as good as they sound on the radio or cd's. Perfect examples are Brad , Rascal Flats and Tim McGraw. I think the song Tim sang was great, but I'm just not a great fan of his voice, I think he has a weak voice and it isn't a very good one. BUT Vince, is always, always as great in a live performance as he is on the radio or cd, that's why it is so frustrating to me that he doesn't get airplay like he deserves..

My Direct Tv Went out due to storm here in Iowa so I missed the whole thing 1 lol I was so upset.I only watch to see Vince He always sounds great and right on key !I have seen a ton of folks live and they never sound as good in person.( IMO)I always notice how off some of them sound at awards shows !But not Vince he needs no studio tricks to make him sound better but a lot of them do.I have heard Tim and Faith off key and I just never was a fan of Tim Or Kenny,They all sound the same to me but Vince is unique I just don't get why people can't see how great he is It is frustrating to me too big hugs mamabear
