Hi everybody, I'm new to your board and joined because I really like Vince and I am going to CMA fest this year. A few weeks ago Vince was listed as appearing there, but now I don't see his name on the list anymore. Does anyone know if he'll be there or not? It's still listed on his tour schedule, so I'm a little puzzeled. I'll be really disappointed if he is not going to be there. Thanks.

Carrie has posted in another thread that she had received 2 e-mails from Johanna and they stated that Vince would not be appearing at the Stadium shows. I feel the same way. I saw him in Laughlin and was going to ask him but when you get up to him it goes so fast and there are others there so I totally spaced it. I will be there though . I guess he is playing the City Of Hope Softball Game .He usually does that among many other things if he is in town .

Guess we'll just have to wait and see. sometimes they pull those surprise appeance's so you never know. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

I GOT MY CMT MAGAZINE TODAY AND IT HAS AN ARTICLE ABOUT THE CMA FEAST AND WHO IS GOING TO BE THERE EACH NIGHT AND THEY HAVE VINCE ON THE LIST IT SAYS HE WILL BE ON SATURDAY 6-9-2007 AT 8PM THAT IS WHAT TIME THE SHOW STARTS AND HE WILL BE PLAYING BALL THURSDAY AT 1PM 6-7-2007. I WILL BE AT A MOTEL IN NASHVILLE,TN I THINK THE FIDDLERS INN MY FAMILY AND I WILL BE COMING BACK FROM FLORIDA AND WE ARE GOING TO STOP IN TENNESSEE,NASHVILLE TO STAY OVER NIGHT THURSDAY AND GET UP THE NEXT DAY AND HEAD FOR OHIO (HOME).

The CMA Fest web site doesn't have Vince listed. For the last2-3 years he hasn't done much at the Fest, apart from the Softball game.

Yes but Linda he didn't have a 4 cd box set either .I just wish someone would say ..............yea or nay for sure .

That's true Anna, it has been 2 or 3 years since Vince released any new material, and you would think that the FF would be an opportunity to maybe generate some new fans, I think his live version of "Sweet Thing" would go down a treat. However, I don't think his no show at the FF the past few years has anything to do with the lack of new material, he's said he doesn't believe that's a reason not to perform or tour.

Hi, On the Tour Page it has June 9, 2007 For CMA Music Fest I would think he would be there ? gillgirl IN PA.

Some sites say he won't and some say he will. I would just like to know for sure. Maybe by the end of the month we will know something official.

Appearing on Imus and all the other shows were to promote These Days. I mean these artist usually just don't show up for a visit to these shows. He has been all over the map since These Days was released. If you notice when anyone appears on the Opry for instance they always mention they have a new record.

I have been trying to find out for all of you but know luck so far, but if I find out something I'll let you know.

Does anyone have news about Vince and fanfair? I have softball and fanfair tickets, hope he's there. I went in 2000. The fair was awesome, but my highlight is always Vince.

Hey guys...just wanted to touch base with you guys. Aparently there was a time that Vince was going to appear but due to a scheduling conflict is not going to play the coliseum shows. He has been in town and as Alison posted did 2 shows here this week as well as the softball game. Look for pics of vince playing and having a great time at the game on Monday or Tuesday! THank you!
