I know some have gotten tickets for the Clatpon Music Festival. Just thought I'd mention that Vince said on the Country Countdwon show that he was going to be the "house band" for the festival and was really looing forward to it. Not sure if he'd be doing his own set, but I'd assume he would be as well as playing with the others.

I don't know if he will be the house band for the whole day. He mentioned on the countdown show they would be the house band for Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow & Albert Lee. He was excited about that.

I went to the last Festival in Dallas & it was GREAT!! I met Eric Clapton, hung out with Larry Carlton, met John Mayer, saw Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top walking around with a lanyard around his neck with a bottle opener attached to it at noon! It was a magnificent day of guitar greats. They had two stages so when one act was done they went straight to the next act. No down time at all. The first day was a scorcher. I was the joke for everyone because I was so sunburned. The Crossroads DVD was a pretty cool remembrance of a cool weekend!

We love our Crossroads DVD and my husband plays it all the time when we have friends over. I wonder if they are going to make another DVD this year? What an honor for Vince to be part of the house band....how great that they asked him.

That's great Vince will be there again this year.He always seems so excited about p;aying there. I think he loves that as much,if not more,as any part of his music.
