i finally got around to seeing the movie Borat this weekend.
Wow.......i heard so many peple love it and say it was sooo funny, but i absolutely hated it and thougt it was stupid and rediculously immature and insulting. I'm a 32 year old male who has a sense of humor and is not easily offended, so i think i'm right in the group that should like it, but my gosh!
Did anyone here like it? Am i misssing something?
But, vince's "riding the rodeo" was in it, so i enjoyed that. but i wonder if vince had to agree to it and if he knew what the movie was like before he did.

I doubt that an artist/songwriter has to agree to use their song in a movie...usually the only requirement is that royalties are paid to the artist/songwriter.

I have not seen it, nor do I wish to see it.
Any movie like that should be banned in my opinion.

I'm not sure any movie should be "banned"! You have the choice to see it or NOT see it!
I did see the movie and I too was expecting it to be very funny based on the reviews. I was very disappointed because I just thought it was a big nothing! I walked out of the theater thinking the same thing....did I miss something? I'm not a prude either, and I can appreciate a raucous and randy movie with the best of them, but for me it wasn't worth the money for admission. Just my opinion.

Having seen the movie (my son had a copy) ...I am glad I didnt pay to see it. I dont see what all the talk was about this movie. The whole thing was a total mess.
