I saw Amy perform in Tifton, Ga tonight. She was really good. The venue there is very nice.

Thanks for letting us know. She recently said in an interview that since she hadn't been performing much that the Tifton concert was going to be "loosey goosey." :-) What did she wear and are you familiar with any of the songs? Was her bandmates with her? And did she engage the audience in any kind of onstage conversation? Forgive me for all the questions, but enquiring minds want to know. :-)

She wore a Sundress and High heeled dressy shoes. The evening was semi formal. She did say she would rather be in jeans and barefoot. The shoes did come off after about 5 songs. She played most of her pop hits and yes her full band was with her. She stated she had spent Thursday in Washington DC. (Don't remember doing what) She told several cute stories about Corrina and her family. She talked about her new book coming out.

JMO but I still am curious to see how the crowds are at the summer tour with Amy and Vince. Their fan bases are so totally different.

I have seen several of Amy's Christmas shows and loved them. This was the first concert I have seen of all Amy doing her regular hits. I really enjoyed it. I love her sense of humor. Thanks to FOA her fan club had the front row dead center so that was really nice!

The evening began with a buffet dinner which was really good. The evening was a Charity for ABAC in Tifton.

Thanks Rhonda for the added info. Glad you finally got to see a regular concert, although it was only her 4th of the year. I had to smile about her kicking off her shoes after the first 5 songs. I don't blame her. She kicked off her shoes at a formal concert with symphony that she did in Charlotte a few years ago. She said that she had done enough walking back in forth in airports that day, and that the shoes were going to have to come off during the concert! :-)

It will indeed be very interesting with the various audiences intermingling due to the varied genres being represented on Vince's Friend and Family tour. Let's see, they'll be country western, some blues and jazz, and a bit of rock and some pop music and contemporary Christian music along with some down home bluegrass. So let's hope the fans of all the artists, don't mind being exposed to some variety on this tour. I love this aspect of variety myself. As long as there's no hard or grunge rock or gangsta rap, I'm fine with it. :-)
