There's an interesting feature in the current Golfweek Magazine. It's spotlights Nashville and our man Vinnie and talks about him holding the record low round at a local course as well as listing some of the things he likes most about Nashville. Good photo of him too.

Vince Gill's love for the game of golf, music, and his christian faith inspired me to write some golf songs paraodies using old Gospel Hymns about a year ago. I was intouch with a producer in Nashville last November that has known Vince since 1975. After I receieved my copywrite, he thought that Vince would like to see them.
Just recently I was told be this producer that there would be no interest in these lyrics, and I should enjoy them for myself for the production would be costly.
It is my understanding that he wont show Vince these lyrics " for he is a serious golfer".
So I would like to ask this question to all of our loyal Vince Gill fans. Why wouldn't he or anyone be amused by songs like Amazing Swing, Chipping to the Green, Shall We Gather at the Hazard.

Hey I'd totally be amused as a golfer myself (albeit a new golfer) and being married to a pro golfer.

Maybe its too late to get copy of GOLFWEEK I could not located this magazine anywhere I even went to bookstores.Can you give a hint.I lived here in NYC maybe selling only in Nashville.Thanks.
