Bruce & I just returned from the movies. They were playing the usual 'bad music' before the previews started. I had just finished making the statement to Bruce that I wished just one time we could go to the movies and hear some Vince music instead of the junk they play all the time. Just as I was finishing my statement, there was a message that came across the bottom of the big screen. 'Up Next: Vince Gill' ...etc. They played the entire new commercial with Vince and the Apple Guy. It is a very cute song...Vince and the Apple Guy harmonize quite nicely..LOL!!! The song is really quite funny. I was wondering if they had to do extra takes because somebody cracked up at the lyrics. Only one problem that I could see...what the heck did they do to Vince's hair??? Looks like they curled it to me. Anyway, thought you all might enjoy hearing about the 'surprise' at the movies today. I was quite pleased with the commercial and I hope it gets alot of tv play!!!

I can't wait to see that video! BTW, there's a poll over at GAC asking who you think the 'mystery guest' is. Just click on the "Vocal Event of the Year" and it'll take you to the poll. Right now Blake Shelton is winning by a landslide...Vince is second. Apparently Blake's fans either don't read CW, or else it's wishful thinking on their part!

Hey Becky. That was a cool surprise. I can't wait to see the commerical. I wish we could find out the schedule so that I can tape it, it would be fun to have in my Vince collection.

BTW, I got both the new CW issue and TV Guide today and it was neat to see the full page ad plugging the commercial.
