I apologize if this has already been discussed but I couldn't find anything and am hoping for some news about the next single to be released. It's way past time... the wait has been too long!

Nothing yet,Hilary.I personally hoping for one of the upbeat songs. Something that might find it's way to the radio.Still skeptical about any of the songs making it on radio.Hope I am wrong but if the national trend is what it has been in Phoenix none of the songs will ever get played on radio.

Does it matter?
(Sorry - not trying to be flipant....just with no airplay on most singles it's fruitless....however I suppose it cannot hurt, maybe a video would help - at least CMT and GAC play them).

I too hope for an upbeat song - Like "Sweet Thing".

I feel the same Charlie but Vince does not like to do videos. I guess he calls the shots on that one. Sweet Thing is a good choice but as you said does it really matter.

ANNA, on my country tonight the DJ plays the most heard songs that was played todayand he plays 8 most played songs and Vince Gill was # 2 WHAT YOU GIVE AWAY . and the other one station plays Vince every day so he is being played here in PA.

Bob McKay LOVES Vince. Read that right now he's back in Miami helping out because their PD left. Believe me, I hated when Bob left WKIS, because when he was there, they played any song Vince released...after he left, Vince's new stuff never got played. Of course What You Give Away isn't getting played on Waco100 either...

So... back to the topic -- out of 43 new songs, please please tell me they (the record company) aren't going to stop with just the two singles. Alison? Are you here? Can you shed any light?

Something upbeat would be good. As far as a video why not just take a cut from the new Live DVD as a cross promotion for the single & upcoming DVD release.

I think 'Sweet Thing' would be perfect !
