I love Rick Springfield!! He was my first "true love" and I owned all the VINYLS he put out. One of the saddest days of my young life was when we went away for the day and I came home to find them all warped, lying on my bed in the brilliant sunshine where I left them....aaah, the memories!

That was my second concert ever--after Hall and Oates--and I still have great memories of being there with my aunt, friends, and cousins. Too fun! I did see him a few years ago, and he is still looking GOOD. I also saw him a bit when he came back to GH. Is he still on there?

As for fanclubs, I've belonged to a TON over the past few years. The three I will probably never let expire are Vince's, Brad Paisley (I'm in the low 200's for membership number there--should've joined when I first thought about it, and I'd probably be double digits!), and my buddy Steve Azar. I don't probably need to "renew" his fanclub, but I'll always be in his. He's such a doll!

Anyone else is iffy. Depends on my job situation!!

Cute about Rick Springfield. Yes he is still on GH and actually has a little bigger role these days! He is impersonating a ROCK STAR! LOL!

I'm loving that storyline on GH! Can't wait to actually hear him sing! Was watching one of those new karaoke shows where they have to sing the lyrics once the band stops singing, and one of the songs was Rick's "Jessie's Girl."

BTW, Mary, just to fill you in a little more, Rick was/is actually playing 2 roles on GH right now. He's still playing Noah, but he's also playing fictional rock star Eli Love, who collapsed from a brain annurism (sp) and is in the hospital. Eli was supposed to do an AIDS Benefit concert, but since he's recovering from brain surgery, Noah's son Patrick, Robin Scorpio and her mom Anna Devane convinced Noah to impersonate Eli Love for the benefit...and it's actually Anna who's giving him 'lessons' on how to be a rock star! There's also a romance starting between Anna and Noah. Right now it's one of the best storylines on the show....heck, maybe I should say the *best* storyline on the show! *L*

I only belong to two fan clubs. One is Vince Gill and the other is not in music but Johnny Benson, Jr. of racing. Johnny is from the Michigan area so will always belong I think.
I belonged to the Julius LaRosa fan club when I was a kid so that will tell you just about my age. Anyone know who that was?????

Springfield friends, I actually got a chance to see part of the show the other day. Whoohoo! He is still adorably cute. Those soaps are a bit far fetched, but they hook us, don't they?! I will have to tune in more to see Eli Love/Noah Drake do some singing....
