I don't know who started it, but I know the "original" fan club was based out of Whitehouse, TN and was run by an outfit that ran a couple of other fan clubs. I first joined probably around 1993.

I can't remember 'when' I joined, but I do think it was before 1993. I've been around a very, very long time. I think that Nita, me, Mary Anne, Val and a few others have been around for quite a while now. It could have been 1991 or so that I joined. Wished I could remember!

I think it was around 1994 that I joined. I still have most of my old newsletters, too. I think the first message board came online around 1995/1996...it was when High Lonesome Sound came out. A couple years after that, the fan club went online.

I think I first joined in about 1989 and haven't missed a day since except when they took it down to go online. I have lots of refrigerator magnets that they always sent us when we renewed each year - lots of shots of Vince.

I joined when the first online fan club started, not sure of the date. It was when they still snail mailed the newsletters and magnets to members. I love the magnets, have them on my refrigerator

I joined 'way back when' too, when we used to get autographed photos, fridge magnets, newsletters, etc. We used to send concert pictures in and they would use them in the newsletters. I remember I was thrilled that one of the pictures that I took of Vince at Interlochen was on the front page of one of the newsletters. And, I still have all those magnets on my fridge, holding up pictures that I have personally taken of Vince over all the years.

I joined about 1990 or 1991. I have all the Fan Club newsletters in a notebook. It was fun to receive them in the mail every month.
