Happy Labor Day Everyone! I will be spending my last day of summer vacation with my family, I work for a school district so I have off all summer. gillgirl IN PA.

Mine will hopefully be pool side with some kind of beverage, LOL! It's a beautiful day here in Upstate NY and a superb weekend for just that, I took a break yesterday as I had pumpkin patch destruction to do, but, will still be in the pool most of the afternoon, I hope!

I grew 4 giant pumpkins this year which included one green squash, and unfortunatley it had a soft spot on the bottom of it yesterday and I had to destroy it. It's probably just as well as I found more vine bores in the vine of the plant yesterday too. That's the second pumpkin in 2 weeks I've had to destroy. I still have 2 but would have liked to carve these guys in October at least for Halloween like I did last year. Oh well, there is always next year.
