I'm going to throw this out there again this year. I know a lot of people don't come on here as much as they used to, myself included, but it would still be neat to continue our Christmas card list for the holidays.

For those of you that have just joined, each year for about 3 or 4 years we've had a list going to send Christmas cards to each other. Last year, just about all of us took a pic we took of Vince and made Christmas cards to mail to each other. We got some pretty neat picture cards of Vince. You don't necessarily have to do those kind of cards - we started out doing postcards of the city we live in and others even sent regular Christmas cards. It's all a matter of what you'd like to send. I've done this for the last 2 or 3 years (compiling the list of names and addresses and sending that list to the people that want to send the cards. I send this list via your personal e-mail for privacy reasons. I have a list of last years names - if I don't received a yes from you, I won't keep it on the list. We would love to be able to have everybodys name from last year and add all the others that have joined this year too.

If anybody is interested in joining or continuing to mail cards, please let me know by acknowledging here on this post or you can send me a PM here on the board or by my personal e-mail.

Linda ----- to remain in subject ----- looks like I'll be around for the card exchange ---- the 'little' hurricane didn't bother us at all --- I'm 20 miles inland from Galveston, and the little blow skirted around Galveston Island and went elsewhere to huff and puff and blow a few roofs and trees down! We dodged pretty well on this little wind.

Our granddaughter just moved to League City, TX with her husband after he got discharged from Army here at Ft. Lewis. Is that near you? She is a native northwesterner and has enjoyed the beach and mild weather since going down there.
