I emailed Val this morning, and it bounced back to me a 'undeliverable'. Have any of you talked with Val lately? It's been a while for me.

I think she's been on vacation, Cathy. Last I heard she was having some trouble with her ISP...hopefully, she'll get it worked out soon.

I've been missing her too. Sure hope she and her family are okay.

There was a problem with her ISP when she moved. They cancelled and then charged her twice and then cancelled her again. That's probably why your email came back as undeliverable. When she got back from vacation she couldn't get back online. Hopefully she'll get it straightened out soon.

I've also tried to reach her - made her a couple of tapes of stuff she couldn't get on her TV but don't have any idea how to reach her or send them on.

Cathy,
I had mail to Val come back to me also. I do know they were planning a vacation, and she was having trouble getting things going smoothly on her computer. Hopefully, she'll be back soon.

Thanks guys. I was just a little worried about her. She is always around, and then poof, she was gone. I was gone on vacation for a week, and when I returned ---- No VAL. Now I can quit wondering where she is.

Thanks.

Hey guys, I'm BACK!! Sorry I couldn't let everyone know what happened, but the only people I could e-mail were those on my mailing list, since I didn't have everyone's personal e-mail addys, and since it was getting late that day my grandmother wanted to come home to get dinner, and I just didn't have time to even get on the message board. Finally got everything straightened out, but with a new e-mail addy. Earthlink went and cancelled the account and they couldn't restore it by the time we got home, even though the last billing agent I spoke to said it would be restored within 48 hours...yeah, RIGHT, because when I finally got access to a computer and I checked, my account was STILL deactivated! Couldn't get it straightened out until we got home from vacation.
Anyways, we had a good time...went to Atlantic City while we were in New Jersey...I played $15 on the penny slots and came back with $25, so I won $10 and quit! I wasn't going to be like my aunts and keep going even after I won! *L* Then we went to Branson...saw several good shows, including the Tillis Family Reunion show (Mel, Pam, Mel Jr (Sonny), and Carrie)...got autographs from all of them after the show. I bought a Pam Tillis shirt and had them all sign it, along with my autograph book. Saw a Johnny Cash show, which was actually better than we expected...we had another show planned but that show decided to take the day off, and since we had gotten a 2 for 1 ticket and 1 free ticket for the Johnny Cash show when we were eating breakfast, we decided to go to that one, and it was actually VERY good! Not as extravagant as some of the shows, like Shoji Tabuchi (which was the last show we saw), but very good, non-the-less! Also went to a Polynesian show called Island Fire, and that came with a free Luau at The Dutton's Deli (the show was at the Dutton's theater...and for those of you who watched America's Got Talent over the summer, The Duttons were one of the Top 10 acts, and they were hosting some of the other AGT contestants, but we didn't know that until we had tickets for all the shows we wanted to see and didn't have anymore time!) The Island Fire show was also had an 'audience participation' portion, where thy grabbed people out of the audience and had them come up onstage to be 'salad makers' (dancers)...I was one of the 'guinea pigs' and my father just HAD to buy the DVD of the show with me in it looking like a fool, I'm sure! *L* They also had a medical emergency during the show...one of the performers fainted backstage and they called 911 and they came and took him to the hospital.
The last show we saw was Shoji Tabuchi's, and I'd suggest to anyone who ever gets to Branson to go and see this show! Shoji is actually a violinist, but he sings, he has dancers, and the week we were there, his daughter was there from Nashville and she sang some songs. And the way the show started, it was like pre-show entertainment and you didn't even realize it was part of the show...what they had was a group of clowns coming in, like they were just a bus full of visitors...then one of the clowns jumped up onstage and the 'bus driver' was chasing him around, and all the other clowns started goofing around, then balloons started to fall! The show had everything from clowns to balloons to confetti to fireworks! Definately a good show....and this was like the first year that Shoji hadn't been off fishing with Mel while we were there. Oh, btw, Shoji learned to speak English from Yakov Smirnoff and Mel Tillis, so his english isn't the best! *LOL!*
